Have we literally only gotten the pilot episode? Yes. Has Gambit here decided to move in and set up shop in my skull? Also yes.
I like to think that he's a player that tends to spend most of his time at the carnival and literally anywhere but the big top. While Gambit likes the idea of a way out, he's pretty sure that there's nothing he can add to that, so he prefers to spend his time messing with NPCs and trying to beat that one (rigged) game of ring toss.

Gambit would have (mostly one sided) rivalries with any other Megatron aft-kisser. He’s competing to win Megatron’s approval. Which will never happen lol

There’s no one Gambit really “can’t stand” but he does go out of his way to piss off literally anyone if he can(except Megatron)(this means most everyone can’t stand HIM)

He ONLY uses his flail attached to his shoulder. He won’t use anything else and never tried learning anything else. If he’s in a gun fight he either charges the enemy(yes he is that dumb) or runs away
