YEAH Eve has very little to say about the courtship, because he trusts Astra wholeheartedly with everything (in this case, her choice of partner). Wildcard is a bit harder to please and he’s never been kind to strangers. He tends to get along well with bots who can match his vibes though. Calibreus is still too young to understand these sort of things so he probably doesn’t care, but the idea of Astra leaving does make him sad.

The first time little Eve smiled was when he saw Skywarp tripped and fell face first. Later they learnt that he would only smile when something unfortunate happened to Skywarp in particular. His rare smile didn’t really freak his creators out, if anything they found it rather endearing.

There’s actually a four-year gap between Astra and Eventide. Megatron and Starscream didn’t plan to have another because it wasn’t ideal to raise sparklings during a war, but Astra has grown bored of playing by herself. TC, Skywarp and the cassettes had been more than happy to indulge her from time to time, but ultimately she needed a closer-in-age playmate. Time to open the baby factory.
