I was just fussing around this morning with some outfit concepts/different looks for my favorite trio of Oblivionverse ladies; & I figured why not share the slay-age?

a couple days ago i put out a request on twitter for interactive prompts featuring friends’ oc’s and thomas & then i finished art for the first time in FOREVER and i feel very good about this 

H311-X aka helix, is the new computer expert on the oblivion & thomas is the mechanic (somewhat longstanding by the time helix is, uh.  accidentally kidnapped) and their personalities & workstyles are, shall we say... diametrically opposed? xD 

sophia von blutgeier is a half-vampire lady of adventure and uh.  this is a dangerous combination with the thomas/vaska pre-established “bad idea promotion central” way of life 

they are absolutely liveblogging their invasion of this probably very haunted cemetery or something in the middle of Forest, Nowhere, also probably haunted.  all of their friends are responding, “SOPHIA/THOMAS NO” 

sophia and thomas are like, “UH, SOPHIA/THOMAS YES” 

bonus: the warmup i drew when we all realized how tiny thomas is next to these gals who also happen to both have highly enhanced strength: 

thomas is mad but ultimately resigned to this life.  (thomas actually has less-dense-than-normal bones so it’s like. how can ppl resist picking her up? she’s 5′2″ and less than a hundred pounds, look at her)

Birthed from the Rot, Houndling is the bare bones of a person that never learned to be one.

The miracle baby was given to she who brings the plague out of nativity. Being born with rot infused in one's DNA did not grant the infant worship, sure its existence was acknowledged. But it was not responsive to the cooing of women or probing of the men.

And so the masquerade grew bored because in a world where ambition ensured survival, the girl fell flat in their eyes.

However, the girl was drawn to Madam Salvatore plague. The woman who fed her, bathed her, and clothed her. The only person who didn't want to soften her.

When the girl tore insects apart, the woman rewarded her. No flash of disgust or mockery.

And as she entered adolescence, everyone was reminded this girl was a spawn of the rot. The girl could tear limbs easily from the strongest of animals, sharp teeth to pierce flesh, and sensitive ears to track movement.

Yet the girl still lacked that individuality everyone else clung to with symbolic monikers and flashy costumes. And the dog motif was convenient for the girl, claws to split skin, and a mask to conceal the humanness.

No longer could the masquerade see a girl when the most human part of her was locked away behind that dog head.

Personality: Tabby is sarcastic and has a short temper. She likes things a certain way and won't deal with bullshit. But, Tabby is passionate to the point it borders on obsessive.

Character Synopsis

Tabby is a 25-year-old woman who lives in a studio apartment and works as a cook for a meal prep organization. She rarely attends the group meetings as she doesn't see much value in them, and being the youngest doesn't help her connect easily. Tabby spends most of her free time with the stray cats or putting up missing posters for Gabriel or even protesting.

Tabby grew up in a small religious town. Her upbringing was chaotic and shaped her no-nonsense mindset. Tabby was sent off to Rosewood Prep when she was around 9, and graduated at 18.

Her little brother is the only connection she has left to MapleGrove. The Vales and Langs moved away. Gabriel is gone.

Relationships:

Dr. Soun is Tabby's physiatrist. Tabby typically doesn't attend the group sessions recommended.

Gabriel Reed was Tabby's found little brother. She is fiercely protective of him and wanted to runaway with him before being sent away to Rosewood Prep. When she returned, she was told Gabriel was gone, but she knew Alam and Felix must have kicked him out. She longs to find him.

Tim Wright and Tabby often butt heads due to differing opinions and sarcastic attitudes. But Tabby sees through his act; he's just tired and anxious, as everyone else is in that room.

Elaine Hainault is kindest to Tabby, always asking how she's doing and if she wants company. Tabby appreciates it and thinks Elaine is a decent mom. She understands Elaine's struggle with insomnia.

Ruby Addams is quiet and rarely speaks in the meetings; she reminds Tabby of Gabriel. Tabby tries to be gentle with her.

Jessica and Marybeth don't attend meetings. Tabby assumes they have similar opinions to hers on these meetings.
