I was listening to this song and it just gave me the sense of “I need to draw a Brave Honoka”. I picked the Obari Pose because it’s an absolute classic, I mean, if you’re a Brave with a sword you kind of have to do this pose, right? This took the course of many days as I gradually chipped at it thinking about the lighting.

I think I managed to use the brush strokes to convey a sense of motion and perspective. I was rather lost when it came to finishing up the ground as the image ended up being too smooth. Thanks to the help of a friend I managed to push the boundary, though at this point I truly feel like Ashita no Joe at the end of the series.
