Hi! I was wondering if you could do something with Ollie about young parents, or something really sappy, like the one about being obsessed with the reader. I love your blog<3
Dangerous Devotion - OB87
pairing: ollie bearman x fem!gf!reader
summary: everyone warned Ollie that becoming a father at twenty-one would be a career-ending distraction. They were half right. He isn't distracted by the sleepless nights, the crying, or the chaos of raising a daughter while chasing a championship. He’s distracted by her. Navigating parenthood didn't make them drift apart; it turned Ollie into a man who is possessive, touch-starved, and completely, terrifyingly obsessed with his wife.

💭 this one will stay as a standalone :)
note: thank you for the request and idea! i decided to do 2 in 1 hope that's okay for you, hope you like it! 😽💛
The front door clicked shut, the sound barely a whisper in the quiet house, but Ollie knew you heard it. You always heard him.
He dropped his bags by the entrance, toeing off his shoes with an urgency that had nothing to do with fatigue and everything to do with the ache in his chest—the hollow feeling that had been expanding ever since he left for the track four days ago.
He found you in the nursery.
The only light came from the star-shaped nightlight plugged into the corner, casting a soft, golden glow over the rocking chair. You were there, curled up with your legs tucked beneath you, your head resting against the high back of the chair. In your arms, your daughter was fast asleep, a tiny fist clutching the fabric of your shirt.
Ollie stopped in the doorway. He felt the air leave his lungs.
It happened every time. He’d come home thinking he was prepared for how much he loved you, thinking he knew the extent of it, only to be knocked sideways by the sheer, crushing weight of it. seeing you like this—hair messy, face devoid of makeup, holding the life you two created—it felt like a physical blow.
He crossed the room silently, dropping to his knees beside the chair.
You stirred, blinking open tired eyes. A soft smile broke across your face when you saw him. "You're home," you whispered, careful not to wake the baby.
"I'm home," Ollie breathed. He didn't lean in for a kiss immediately. Instead, he just looked at you. His eyes traced the curve of your jaw, the sweep of your eyelashes, the slight pulse in your neck. It was intense, bordering on feverish.
"Ollie?" You shifted slightly, your free hand coming up to cup his cheek. "You okay? You look... intense."
He leaned into your touch, closing his eyes and letting out a shaky breath. He turned his face, pressing a fervent kiss to your palm, then your wrist.
"I missed you," he said, his voice rough. "Not just 'I wish you were there' missed you. I mean, I felt like I couldn't breathe right until I walked through that door."
"You were only gone four days, you drama queen," you teased gently, though your thumb stroked his cheekbone lovingly.
Ollie opened his eyes. They were dark, dilated, and terrifyingly sincere. He shifted, resting his chin on your knee, looking up at you like a devotee at an altar.
"It doesn't matter," he whispered. "Do you know what I was doing during debriefs? Thinking about this. Thinking about you holding her. Thinking about the way you smell."
He reached up, his hand trembling slightly as he tucked a strand of hair behind your ear. His fingers lingered on your skin, needing the contact to ground him.
"It’s actually a problem, Y/N," he murmured, his gaze dropping to your lips and then back to your eyes. "I am so obsessed with you it scares me. I look at you and I feel... greedy. I want every second of your time. I want every thought in your head."
You felt a blush rise to your cheeks, despite the years you’d been together. "Ollie..."
"No, I'm serious," he interrupted softly, leaning forward to press his forehead against your thigh, his arm wrapping around your waist to anchor himself to you. "You’re a masterpiece. Look at you. You’re exhausted, you haven't slept properly in weeks because of the baby, and you are still the most beautiful thing I have ever seen in my life."
He looked up again, his expression vulnerable.
"I would burn the world down just to keep you sitting in this chair, looking at me like that."
You softened, your heart squeezing in your chest. You leaned down as much as you could without disturbing the sleeping baby, pressing a kiss to his forehead. "Well, luckily for the world, I'm not going anywhere. And neither are you."
Ollie let out a contented sigh, closing his eyes again as he buried his face against your stomach, right beside where the baby lay.
"Good," he mumbled, his voice thick with sleep and devotion. "Because I'm never letting go."
When you finally woke up, the first thing you noticed was the silence.
Panic, the constant companion of a young mother, spiked in your chest. You sat up abruptly, hair falling over your face, expecting to hear a cry or the hum of the baby monitor. But there was nothing.
Then, the smell of coffee and burnt toast drifted down the hallway.
You rubbed the sleep from your eyes and padded barefoot out of the bedroom, following the scent. The morning sun was streaming through the kitchen windows, blindingly bright, illuminating the scene in front of you.
Ollie was standing by the stove, shirtless, wearing only his grey sweatpants that hung low on his hips. In one arm, he balanced your daughter, who was happily chewing on the drawstring of his pants. With his free hand, he was attempting to flip a pancake.
He looked chaotic. There was flour on the counter and a carton of milk dangerously close to the edge. But he was humming.
You leaned against the doorframe, crossing your arms over your chest, a smile tugging at your lips. "You're going to burn the house down, Ollie."
Ollie spun around so fast he almost dropped the spatula. The moment his eyes landed on you, that same intensity from the night before snapped back into place. The spatula was forgotten on the counter (dripping batter onto the marble) as he just stared.
"Hi," he said, his voice raspy with morning grogginess.
"Hi," you replied, walking over to rescue the milk carton. "How long have you been up?"
"Couple of hours," he shrugged, shifting the baby so she was resting more comfortably on his hip. She made a happy gurgling sound at the sight of you. "She woke up around six. I didn't want to wake you."
You reached out to take the baby, but Ollie stepped back slightly, shaking his head.
"No," he said firmly. "I've got her. You drink coffee. You sit."
"Ollie, I can hold my own child—"
"Y/N," he cut in, stepping into your personal space. He used his free hand to grip your waist, pulling you flush against his side. "I’m serious. Sit down. Let me do this."
He leaned down, burying his face in the crook of your neck, inhaling deeply. He was warm, smelling of baby powder and strong espresso.
"I watched you sleep for a while before I brought her out here," he murmured against your skin, his lips moving against your pulse point. "You were drooling a little bit."
You laughed, trying to push him away, but his grip on your waist tightened. "Shut up. That ruins the romance."
"It really doesn't," Ollie pulled back to look at you, his eyes scanning your face with that terrifyingly soft adoration. "It was the cutest thing I’ve ever seen. I almost woke you up just to tell you how pretty you looked, but I figured you’d kill me."
He pressed a kiss to your forehead, then your nose, then finally a quick, hard peck on your lips.
"Go sit," he commanded gently, guiding you toward a barstool. "I’m making you pancakes. They might be burnt, and they definitely won't be round, but I made them."
You sat down, watching him turn back to the stove. He was humming again, occasionally whispering nonsense to the baby on his hip, who was watching him with wide eyes.
"You're obsessed," you said, resting your chin on your hand, your heart feeling full to the point of bursting.
Ollie glanced over his shoulder, a lopsided, boyish grin on his face. "We established this last night, darling. I'm completely gone for you. Now, do you want syrup or fruit?"
"Both," you smiled.
"Both it is," he said, turning back to the pan, whispering to the baby, "See? Mommy gets whatever she wants. That's the rule."
The end-of-season party was in full swing. The music was loud, the drinks were flowing, and the atmosphere was light. But in the corner booth of the VIP area, a different kind of show was happening.
Kimi Antonelli leaned back in his chair, swirling his drink, and sighed loudly. He looked across the table at Arthur Leclerc, who was currently trying to ignore the situation.
"Is he blinking?" Kimi asked, nodding his head toward Ollie. "I genuinely don't think he's blinked in three minutes."
Ollie was sitting next to Y/N. He had one arm draped protectively over the back of the booth behind her, and his body was angled entirely in her direction, effectively turning his back on half the group.
Y/N was in the middle of telling a story about the baby’s first attempt at crawling. She was animated, using her hands to demonstrate, laughing at her own bad parenting moment.
Ollie wasn't listening to the story. He was listening to the sound of her voice. He was staring at her profile with a look of such profound, dopey adoration that it was almost painful to witness.
Every time Y/N laughed, a soft, matching smile would spread across Ollie’s face, like a reflex. He reached out, his fingers idly playing with the hem of her sleeve, then drifting up to brush a stray eyelash off her cheek.
"It's disgusting," Arthur whispered, though he was smiling into his glass. "He used to be cool. He used to want to talk about racing."
"Now he just wants to talk about how 'Y/N is a goddess for birthing his child,'" Kimi mimicked Ollie’s British accent poorly. "If I hear him say 'Did you see how she holds the bottle?' one more time, I'm throwing myself into the pool."
At that moment, Y/N shivered slightly, the air conditioning in the venue a bit too high.
Before she could even rub her arms, Ollie was moving. He was out of his jacket in a split second, draping it over her shoulders and tucking the lapels in to ensure she was covered. He leaned in close, whispering something in her ear that made her flush pink and swat his chest playfully.
Ollie caught her hand and kissed the knuckles, completely unbothered by the audience.
"Oi! Bearman!" Kimi finally snapped, tossing a peanut at him.
Ollie didn't even flinch. He just lazily turned his head toward his friends, keeping one hand firmly planted on Y/N's waist. "What?"
"You're drooling," Kimi deadpanned. "Dial it back, mate. We get it. She's the love of your life. You're obsessed. We are trying to have a conversation here."
Ollie looked at Kimi, then looked back at Y/N, who was now hiding her face in her hands, embarrassed but laughing.
Ollie smirked, completely shameless. "I haven't seen her in four days, Kimi. You're lucky I'm even acknowledging your existence right now."
"You're whipped," Arthur shook his head. "So whipped."
Ollie just shrugged, leaning back and pulling Y/N into his side, resting his chin on top of her head. He looked at his friends with a smug, satisfied expression.
"I have a beautiful girlfriend," Ollie stated matter-of-factly. "We have a beautiful baby. And I’m the one going home with her. Call me whipped all you want. I’m winning."
Y/N groaned into his chest. "Ollie, stop bragging."
"Never," he murmured into her hair, closing his eyes and inhaling her scent again. "They're just jealous."
Kimi rolled his eyes so hard it looked painful. "Okay, that's it. I'm going to get another drink. I can't be around this much sugar."
As Kimi walked away, he heard Ollie whisper loudly to Y/N: "Do you want anything? Water? Champagne? My kidney?"
The red digits on the clock read 3:14 AM. The nursery felt like a pressure cooker.
Your daughter had been screaming for two hours straight—a high-pitched, sawing wail that grated against your very soul. Teething. It was brutal. You were pacing the floor, bouncing her rhythmically, tears of sheer exhaustion streaming down your own face. Your back ached, your arms were shaking, and you felt like the worst mother on the planet because you couldn't fix it.
"Shh, baby, please," you whispered, your voice cracking. "Please just sleep."
The door creaked open. You expected a sleepy, grumpy Ollie. Instead, you found him fully awake, eyes clear and focused in the dim light.
He didn't ask what was wrong. He didn't ask if you were okay. He just walked straight to you.
"Give her to me," he said. His voice was low, calm, and brokered no argument.
"Ollie, you have training tomorrow, go back to sleep—"
"Y/N." He stopped in front of you, his hands gently covering yours where they clutched the baby. His thumbs stroked over your knuckles. "Look at me."
You looked up, blinking through tears.
"You're done," he said softly. "Your shift is over. Give me my girl."
He took the screaming baby from your arms with a practiced ease that still surprised you sometimes. He shifted her high onto his shoulder, immediately starting a deep, rumbling hum in his chest that you knew she found soothing. He began a specific, swaying walk around the room.
"Go to bed," he instructed over his shoulder.
You hesitated, hovering by the crib. "But she's—"
Ollie stopped swaying and turned to look at you. His expression was fierce, but not angry. It was that intense, singular focus again.
"I cannot handle seeing you in pain," he said, his voice rough. "It hurts me more than her crying does. If you don't go get in that bed right now and let me take care of our family, I'm going to lose my mind. Go."
The sheer force of his care for you was overwhelming. You nodded mutely and slipped out of the room.
Twenty minutes later, you were drifting off when the bedroom door opened softly. Ollie padded in. It was silent outside.
He climbed into bed behind you, smelling of baby lotion and relief. He pulled you back against his chest, his arm clamping around your waist like a vise. You felt him bury his face in your neck, inhaling sharply.
"Is she asleep?" you whispered.
"Out cold," he mumbled against your skin. "Took some convincing." He kissed your shoulder, his grip tightening almost painfully. "God, I love you. You're such a good mom. I'm so obsessed with you it makes my teeth ache. Now sleep."
It was a black-tie gala for one of the sponsors. Ollie had stepped away for two minutes to grab you both refills on champagne.
You were standing near a high-top table, idly watching the crowd, looking stunning in an emerald green gown that Ollie had spent the better part of the evening staring at.
"Excuse me," a voice said to your left.
You turned to find a man in an expensive suit—someone you didn't recognize, perhaps an investor—smiling smoothly at you.
"I don't mean to interrupt," he said, stepping a little too close into your personal space, his eyes raking over your dress. "But you look incredibly bored. And far too beautiful to be standing here alone."
You gave a polite, tight smile. "I'm not alone, actually. My partner is just getting drinks."
The man laughed, a dismissive sound. "Well, he's a fool for leaving you unguarded. I'm Marcus. Can I get you—"
He started to reach out to touch your arm.
He never made contact.
Suddenly, the air pressure around you changed. A warm, solid weight slammed against your back. An arm, heavy and unyielding, wrapped around your waist, pulling you back so hard your spine collided with a rock-hard chest.
The smell of Ollie’s cologne—something woodsy and expensive—flooded your senses.
"Is there a problem here?"
Ollie's voice was unrecognizable. It was several octaves lower than usual, stripped of all warmth, all humor. It was ice cold and razor-sharp.
The man, Marcus, blinked, looking up at Ollie, who was glaring down at him with an expression that could only be described as murderous. His jaw was locked tight, his eyes dark and flat.
"Oh, uh, no," Marcus stammered, taking a reflexive step back. "I was just... making conversation with the lady."
Ollie didn't blink. The arm around your waist tightened, his fingers digging into your hip through the silk of your dress. It wasn't painful, but it was a clear, primal marking of territory.
"She's not interested in conversation," Ollie said, his voice deadly quiet. "And she's not 'the lady.' She's my wife. Move along."
It wasn't a request.
Marcus turned pale, mumbled an apology, and practically ran into the crowd.
As soon as he was gone, the tension didn't leave Ollie’s body, but his focus shifted entirely to you. He turned you in his arms, his hands coming up to cup your face, tilting your head back.
The icy look vanished, replaced by frantic, searching concern. His thumbs traced your cheekbones.
"Are you okay?" he demanded, his voice shaking slightly now. "Did he touch you? Tell me if he touched you, Y/N."
"I'm fine, Ollie," you soothed, placing your hands over his on your face. "He was just annoying. You scared him off."
"Good," Ollie breathed, leaning down to press his forehead against yours. His heart was hammering against your chest. "I hated the way he was looking at you. I wanted to rip his eyes out."
He kissed you then—hard, possessive, and desperate, right in the middle of the gala floor, not caring who was watching. When he pulled back, he kept you locked against his side.
"We're leaving," he muttered into your hair. "I need to get you home and remind myself that you're mine."
The noise at Monza was deafening, the Tifosi screaming as the cars tore down the main straight. But inside the hospitality suite, it was relatively muffled.
Ollie stood by the glass, arms crossed, watching the monitors with a critical eye. He had a few silver hairs mixed into the dark curls at his temples now, and fine lines fanned out from the corners of his eyes—evidence of a life spent squinting at the sun and smiling at you.
On the screen, a car emblazoned with the number 87 overtook down the inside of Parabolica.
"Did you see that move?" Kimi (now sporting reading glasses that he refused to admit he needed) pointed at the screen. "That was late on the brakes. She drives exactly like you, Ollie. Aggressive. Little bit stupid."
"She drives better than me," Ollie corrected without turning around. "She has her mother's patience."
"She’s leading the championship," Arthur added, shaking his head. "God help us all. Another Bearman."
You walked into the suite then, carrying two espressos. You were wearing a team jacket over a simple white dress, your hair windblown from the walk through the paddock.
The moment you stepped into the room, Ollie’s posture changed. The tension in his shoulders from watching your daughter race evaporated. He turned away from the track—away from the race his eighteen-year-old was currently leading—and walked straight to you.
"Hi," he said, taking the coffee from your hand and setting it down on a table without looking at it.
"Hi," you smiled, smoothing the lapels of his shirt. "She's doing well. Five laps to go."
"I don't care," Ollie murmured. He stepped into your space, wrapping his arms around your waist, pulling you in until there was no daylight between you.
"Ollie," you laughed, glancing over his shoulder at Kimi and Arthur, who were both groaning theatrically. "Your daughter is about to win Monza. Watch the screen."
"I've seen Monza," Ollie said dismissively, his eyes scanning your face with that same hungry, reverent intensity he’d had at twenty-one. "I’d rather watch you."
"Please," Kimi called out from the couch. "We are forty years old. Are you still doing this? It’s been twenty years, mate. Give it a rest."
Ollie didn't even look at them. He brought a hand up to cup your cheek, his thumb brushing over your skin.
"They don't get it," he whispered to you, his voice lower, rougher with age but just as devoted. "They don't understand that it never stops. It just gets worse."
You softened, leaning into his touch, the roar of the cars outside fading into the background. "It gets worse?"
"Yeah," he nodded, his eyes dark and sincere. "I used to be obsessed with the girl who held my baby. Now I'm obsessed with the woman who raised her. I look at you, Y/N, and I think... how did I get away with this? How did I get to keep you for two decades?"
He leaned down, pressing his forehead against yours.
"I am still so head over heels for you, it’s embarrassing."
"It is embarrassing," Arthur shouted. "We are all embarrassed for you!"
You giggled, and Ollie smiled—that boyish, lopsided grin that hadn't aged a day. He kissed you, slow and deep, ignoring the race, ignoring his friends, ignoring the world.
"Let them talk," he murmured against your lips. "I won the championship a long time ago."On the screen behind him, the car with number 87 crossed the finish line in first place, the garage erupted in cheers, but Ollie Bearman was too busy looking at his wife to notice.
𖤓 Sunny radio! This one's for the EEAAO girlies. The ones who get that love isn't about grand gestures — it's about choosing someone in the small, boring, beautiful moments. Each driver, one moment where they realise forever doesn't have to be loud. It just has to be with you.
𖤓 note: Gang, I tried my best not to repeat the scenarios or wording, but if I failed, pls don't kill me it was hard to come up with a new context for 11 drivers 😭Any love would be appreciated.

CHARLES LECLERC — The Grocery Run
The supermarket is almost empty at 11 PM.
Charles should be home. Should be sleeping. Should be reviewing data for tomorrow's sim session. Instead, he's following you through the produce aisle, watching you squeeze avocados like you're defusing a bomb.
"Not this one," you mutter, tossing it back. "Too soft."
"We've been here for twenty minutes."
"We've been here for twenty minutes because you keep putting back the good ones."
Charles laughs — a real one, the kind that used to come so rarely. You don't look up from the avocados, but your mouth twitches. You know what you do to him.
He leans against the shopping cart. Watches you debate the structural integrity of a tomato. Your hair is messy. You're wearing his hoodie — the old one, the one he almost threw away, the one you stole and never gave back. There's a smudge of something on your cheek. Flour, maybe. Or chocolate. He doesn't ask. He doesn't want to stop looking at you long enough to find out.
You're squeezing tomatoes like your life depends on it. Like this matters. Like getting the right one is the most important decision you'll make all week.
And Charles realises, standing in the fluorescent glare of a half-empty supermarket, that he wants every grocery run with you. Every wrong avocado. Every 11 PM debate about produce. Every single boring, beautiful minute of it.
"Charles."
"Hm?"
"You're staring again."
"Can you blame me?"
You finally look up. Your eyes are soft, tired in a way that has nothing to do with sleep and everything to do with the kind of day that follows you home. You'd told him about it earlier — the bad meeting, the rude email, the way everything felt a little too heavy. He'd listened. He'd made tea. He'd suggested grocery shopping at 11 PM like it was a reasonable solution.
It was. Somehow, it always is with you.
"I love you," he says.
You blink. "I know?"
"No, I mean —" He stops. Shakes his head. Tries again. "I'd do this forever," he says quietly. "The grocery shopping. The bad avocados. All of it."
The words hang in the air between the avocados and the tomatoes. Your expression shifts — something soft, something surprised, something that looks like the first time you realised this was real.
"That's a weird thing to say in a produce aisle," you say.
"I know."
"You're so weird."
"I know."
You step closer. Wrap your arms around his waist. Press your face into his chest. The shopping cart bumps against his legs.
"I'd do grocery shopping with you in this life too," you mumble against his hoodie.
Charles holds you tighter.
"Good," he says. "Because I'm not letting you go."
The avocados are forgotten.
They'll remember tomorrow. Right now, nothing matters except your heartbeat against his and the quiet hum of the fluorescent lights and the way you fit in his arms like you were always supposed to be there.
LEWIS HAMILTON — The Kitchen at 2 AM
Lewis can't sleep.
This isn't unusual. He's spent most of his life learning to function on less rest than most people need. But tonight is different. Tonight, the silence is too loud. The city outside is too still. His mind is too full of things he doesn't want to think about.
He finds you in the kitchen.
You're standing at the counter, barefoot, wearing one of his old t-shirts. There's flour everywhere — on your hands, on your face, on the floor. You're trying to make bread. Or something that was supposed to be bread. It's not going well.
"What are you doing?" he asks.
You don't look up. "Baking."
"It's 2 AM."
"I know."
"You're covered in flour."
"I know that too."
He walks closer. Peers at the lumpy dough on the counter. You're completely unbothered by the disaster in front of you. Just kneading away, humming something under your breath, flour dusted across your cheek like war paint. "Is that supposed to look like that?"
"No," you admit. "But I know you haven't been able to sleep recently. And I figured —" You shrug, finally looking at him. Your eyes are tired, but there's something else there. Something warm. Something that makes the silence in his head go quiet. "I figured if you were going to be awake, I might as well be awake with you."
And Lewis realises — standing in his kitchen at 2 AM, watching you fail at baking with the same determination you'd bring to anything else — that this is it. This is the rest of his life. Not the races. Not the podiums. Not the cameras.
This. You. Flour on the floor. Bread that won't rise. 2 AM and nowhere else to be.
Lewis doesn't say anything. He just steps behind you, wraps his arms around your waist, and rests his chin on your shoulder. You smell like flour and vanilla and something that's just you.
"I can feel you staring," you say, your attention going back to the failed masterpiece in front of you.
"I'm admiring."
"I'm a mess."
"You're perfect."
"I don't know how to make bread," you warn him.
"I don't care."
"We're going to have to eat this. Even if it's terrible."
"I don't care."
"We could order takeout."
"Y/N."
You stop. Wait.
"In every lifetime," he says, quietly, "I would choose this. "
You go still in his arms.
"Even if I am failing at making bread?" you say with a small pout.
"Especially then." He presses a kiss to your shoulder. "It's better."
You turn in his arms. Your flour-dusted hands cup his face. Your eyes search his.
"You're a weird man, Lewis Hamilton."
"I know."
"I love you anyway."
He kisses you — slow, soft, unhurried. The bread is forgotten. The silence is no longer too loud. And for the first time all night, Lewis thinks he might actually sleep.
LANDO NORRIS — The Takeout on the Floor
Lando's apartment is a mess.
Not the chaotic kind — the lived-in kind. Clothes draped over chairs. Dishes in the sink. A blanket fort in the living room that you'd built three days ago and neither of you had bothered to take down.
You're sitting on the floor, backs against the couch, eating takeout from containers balanced on your knees. Some reality show is playing on the TV — neither of you is watching. You're too busy arguing about whether pineapple belongs on pizza.
"It does not belong," Lando insists, pointing a spring roll at you.
"It absolutely belongs. You have no taste."
"I have excellent taste. I'm dating you, aren't I?"
You pause. "That's... actually smooth. I'm mad about it."
He grins — the grin, the one that makes you want to throw something at him and kiss him in the same breath. You're wearing his hoodie. Your hair is in a messy bun. You love him so much it makes your chest ache.
And Lando realizes — sitting on the floor of his apartment, takeout containers balanced on his knees, arguing about pineapple on pizza — that he doesn't need anything else. Not the wins. Not the attention. Not any of it.
Just this. Just you. Just the sound of your laugh and the way you steal his spring rolls when you think he's not looking.
"Lando."
"Mm?"
He doesn't say anything for a moment. Just watches you. The way you're completely comfortable. Completely yourself. Completely his.
"I want this forever," he says. "The takeout. The floor. The stupid arguments."
You stop chewing. Look at him. "That's a very intense thing to say while you have sauce on your chin."
"I have sauce on my chin?"
"Right there." You point. He wipes the wrong side of his face. You laugh — that laugh, the one that makes his chest feel too full.
"I love you," he says. Because it's true. Because it's the only thing that matters.
You set down your container. Shuffle closer until your knee bumps his.
"I know," you say. "I love you too. Now eat your spring rolls before they get cold."
"Yes ma'am."
You grin. He grins.
The reality show plays on. Neither of you notices.
OSCAR PIASTRI — The Quiet Sunday
Oscar doesn't talk much.
You'd learned this early. He's not cold — just careful. He thinks before he speaks. He measures his words like they have weight. It used to unnerve you. Now it's one of your favorite things about him.
Today is Sunday. The apartment is quiet. You're reading on the couch. He's at the kitchen table, reviewing data on his laptop. The only sounds are the hum of the refrigerator and the occasional click of his mouse.
This is what your life has become. Quiet Sundays. Shared silences. A love that doesn't need to be loud to be real.
Oscar looks up from his laptop. Watches you read. You're curled up on the couch, your feet tucked under you, your bottom lip caught between your teeth the way it always is when you're concentrating. You haven't noticed him watching. You never do.
He thinks about all the Sundays he spent alone. Before you. The quiet used to be heavy. Now it's just... comfortable. Because you're in it.
He doesn't say anything. He just watches. Commits it to memory. The way the afternoon light hits your hair. The way you mouth the words sometimes, barely moving your lips. The way you look up, catch him staring, and smile like you know exactly what he's thinking.
"What?" you ask.
"Nothing."
"You're lying."
"I'm not." He pauses. "I'm just happy."
You set down your book. "That's it? You're just happy?"
"That's it."
You look at him for a long moment. Then you pat the couch beside you. He stands. Walks over. Sits down. You lean your head on his shoulder. He wraps his arm around you.
"This is nice," you say.
"Yeah," he agrees. "It is."
He doesn't tell you that he wants this every Sunday. Every quiet, boring, perfect Sunday. He doesn't have to. You already know.
GEORGE RUSSELL — The Folded Laundry
George is folding laundry.
This should not be a romantic moment. He is wearing an old t-shirt that has a hole in the collar. His hair is sticking up in the back. There is a suspicious stain on his shorts that he refuses to explain.
But he's folding your clothes. Carefully. Methodically. The way he does everything.
You're watching from the doorway. He hasn't noticed you yet. He's too focused on getting the creases right — on your shirts, your socks, the sweater you'd left draped over the chair three days ago.
He folds everything. Even the things you wouldn't bother with. Even the things you'd given up on.
George doesn't know why he's so focused on the laundry. Maybe because it's yours. Maybe because taking care of you — even in small ways — feels like the most important thing he could be doing.
He holds up one of your shirts. It's old. Faded. The one you wear when you're sick or tired or just don't want to try. He folds it slowly. Presses the crease with his palm.
"George."
He looks up. You're in the doorway, leaning against the frame, watching him with an expression he can't quite read.
"You're folding my laundry," you say.
"It needed to be done."
"At 11 PM?"
"The timing felt right."
You cross the room. Sit on the bed beside the pile of folded clothes. Pick up a shirt — one of yours, one he'd folded so perfectly it looks store-bought.
"You're staring at that shirt like it's precious," you say.
"It's yours."
"That doesn't make it precious."
"To me it does."
You're quiet for a moment. Then you set down the shirt and take his hand.
"You're strange, Russel"
"I know."
"I love you anyway."
He squeezes your hand. He doesn't say anything else. He doesn't need to. The laundry is forgotten. The late hour doesn't matter. He's exactly where he wants to be.
KIMI ANTONELLI — The First Rain of Autumn
Kimi doesn't believe in fate.
He believes in hard work. In data. In the things he can see and touch and prove. He's never been one for grand romantic gestures or sweeping declarations.
But then it starts raining.
You're walking back from the café down the street — the one with the good pastries, the one you'd dragged him to because you said he needed to "experience life outside the simulator." He'd complained the whole way. You'd ignored him.
Now you're both soaked. Your hair is plastered to your face. You're laughing — not at him, not at the situation, just... laughing. Like getting caught in the rain is the best thing that's happened all week.
"You're insane," he says, but he's smiling. He can't help it.
"You're boring," you fire back. "Live a little, Antonelli."
You grab his hand and pull him into a puddle. Water splashes up his jeans. He should be annoyed. He's not.
He watches you spin in the rain. Arms out. Head back. Rain dripping down your face. You look ridiculous. You look perfect.
And Kimi realizes — standing in the middle of the street, soaked to the bone, watching you dance in a puddle — that he wants every rainy day with you. Every unexpected storm. Every moment that makes no sense.
"Kimi."
"What?"
"You're staring again."
"I'm allowed to stare. You're the one dancing in the rain."
You stop spinning. Walk toward him. Your shoes squelch. Your mascara is running. You've never looked better.
"Come here," you say, tugging his arm.
"I'm already here."
"Closer."
He steps closer. You wrap your arms around his neck. Your wet clothes press against his.
"I love you," you say. Like it's obvious. Like it's the easiest thing in the world.
He doesn't say it back. He just pulls you closer. Kisses you. Right there. In the rain. In the middle of the street.
When he pulls back, you're both dripping. You're smiling.
"That was romantic," you say.
"Don't tell anyone."
"Wouldn't dream of it."
He takes your hand. Leads you home. The rain keeps falling.
He doesn't let go.
MAX VERSTAPPEN — The Simulator Break
Max is supposed to be in the simulator.
That's where his trainer thinks he is. Where his engineer thinks he is. Where everyone who needs him thinks he is.
Instead, he's in the break room, sitting across from you, watching you struggle with a vending machine.
"It's not working," you say, pressing the button for the third time.
"Hit it."
"I'm not hitting it."
"Then it won't work."
You glare at him. He shrugs. You hit the vending machine. The candy bar drops. You look triumphant. He looks smug.
"I hate you," you say, picking up the candy bar.
"You love me."
"Debatable."
He watches you unwrap the candy bar, break it in half, and hand him the bigger piece. You don't say anything. You just do it. Like it's instinct. Like taking care of him is as natural as breathing.
Max has won races. Championships. Things people dream about. But none of it feels as good as this. Sitting in a break room. Sharing a candy bar. Watching you wipe chocolate from the corner of your mouth.
He wants this. Not the big moments. The small ones. The ones no one else sees.
"Max."
"Mm?"
"You're doing that thing again."
"What thing?"
"The thing where you stare at me like I'm a puzzle you're trying to solve."
"Maybe you are."
"Am I solved?"
He thinks about it. About the way you make him feel. About how he doesn't have to be anyone other than himself when he's with you.
"Yeah," he says. "You are."
You smile. Break off another piece of candy bar. Hand it to him.
"Good," you say. "Now eat your chocolate. You have a simulator session."
"I'm skipping it."
"You're not skipping it."
"I'm skipping it."
"Max."
He takes the chocolate. He doesn't move.
He stays exactly where he is.
ISACK HADJAR — The Disaster Dinner
Isack is supposed to be impressing you.
That was the plan. He'd cook dinner — something nice, something sophisticated — and you'd see that he was an adult. A functional adult who could do things other than drive fast.
Instead, he's set off the fire alarm.
You're both standing in the kitchen, waving dish towels at the smoke detector, coughing. The windows are open. The fan is on. Whatever was in the oven is now a blackened brick.
"I'm sorry," he says, for the fifth time.
"Stop apologising."
"I ruined dinner."
"You didn't ruin dinner. You just... created a bonding experience."
He looks at you. You're laughing. Actually laughing, like this is funny, like this isn't a disaster, like you're not judging him for being a terrible cook.
"You're not mad?"
"Why would I be mad? I can't cook either. I was going to order takeout the whole time."
"I spent three hours on that recipe."
"I know. It was very sweet. It was also very on fire."
He groans, dropping his head to the counter. You pat his back. Your hand is warm. Comforting.
Isack doesn't know why you're still here. Why you're not running. Why you're laughing instead of leaving.
Then he looks at you. Really looks. At the way your eyes crinkle when you smile. At the way you haven't let go of his arm. At the way you're looking at him like he's not a failure. Like he's just... him.
And he realizes: you're not going anywhere. You never were.
"Isack."
"Yeah?"
"You're very dramatic for someone who set off a fire alarm."
"I'm not dramatic. I'm passionate."
"Whatever"
You order takeout. Eat it on the floor. The smoke detector beeps every few minutes.
He watches you laugh. And he thinks: yeah. This is it.
CARLOS SAINZ — The Packing Night
Carlos is supposed to be packing.
He has a flight tomorrow. Another race. Another city. Another week away from you.
But he's not packing. He's sitting on the edge of the bed, watching you fold his shirts. You're not his assistant. You're not his employee. You're just someone who loves him. Someone who's learned that his shirts wrinkle if you don't fold them a certain way.
"You don't have to do that," he says.
"I know."
"I can do it myself."
"I know."
"Then why —"
"Because I want to." You look up at him. Your expression is soft, patient, unbothered. "Because I'm going to miss you. And this makes me feel useful."
Carlos's chest aches.
He watches you fold. The careful way you smooth out the wrinkles. The way you stack them in his suitcase, like you're building something important. You're humming. Something soft. Something he doesn't recognise.
He thinks about all the times he's packed alone. The empty hotel rooms. The silent airports. The feeling of always leaving something behind. He doesn't feel that anymore. Because you're here. Because you're folding his shirts like it matters. Because you make everywhere feel like somewhere he wants to be.
He crosses the room. Kneels in front of you. Takes your hands — the ones holding his shirt — and presses them to his chest.
"Carlos, your shirt —"
"I don't care about the shirt."
You shake your head, but you're smiling. You fold one more shirt. Set it in the suitcase.
"I'll miss you," you say.
"I'll miss you too," he says quietly. "It's only a week."
"I know."
"It'll go fast."
"I know."
Neither of you moves. Neither of you wants to.
"Come here," he says. You lean forward. He wraps his arms around you. Holds on.
The suitcase stays open. The shirts stay folded.
He doesn't care. He'll pack in the morning. Right now, he's exactly where he wants to be.
ALEXANDER ALBON — The First Snow
It doesn't snow in Monaco.
That's what Alex had told you, when you'd first moved here. "If you want snow, you have to travel." You'd accepted this. Mourned it. Moved on.
So when it snows — actually snows, fat flakes drifting down from a sky that's never done this before — Alex is the one who finds you first.
You're standing on the balcony. Barefoot. In your pyjamas. Just watching.
"Are you crazy?" he asks, stepping outside. "It's freezing."
"Look."
He looks. The city is quiet. The snow is dusting the rooftops, the streets, the harbour. Everything is soft. Everything is still.
"It's snowing," he says.
"It's snowing."
"In Monaco."
"I know."
You're not looking at him. You're looking at the snow. Your cheeks are pink from the cold. Your breath fogs in the air. You're shivering, but you won't come inside.
Alex watches you. The way your eyes are wide. The way you're smiling at something so small, so ordinary. Like it's magic.
He thinks about all the things he wants to give you. Big things. Important things. But right now, all he wants to give you is this. The snow. The balcony. The quiet.
"You're staring," you say, still not looking at him.
"I'm allowed to stare. You're the one standing in the snow in your pyjamas."
"It's romantic."
"It's freezing."
"It is not."
You finally look at him. Your nose is red. Your lips are blue. You're the most beautiful thing he's ever seen.
"I want this forever," he says.
"What, me in my pyjamas running in the snow like a fool?" you say with a small smile.
"Yes, and many more stupid snow days to come"
You smile. Step closer. Wrap your arms around him. He holds you tight.
The snow keeps falling. Neither of you goes inside.
OLIVER BEARMAN — The First Apartment
Ollie's first apartment is small.
Too small, probably. The ceiling leaks when it rains. The neighbors are loud. The heating doesn't work half the time.
But it's his. And you're in it. And somehow, that makes everything else irrelevant.
You're on the floor — there's no couch yet, not until next week — eating takeout from containers balanced on a cardboard box. Ollie is telling you about his day. About the engineers, the setup, the small victory he'd felt when something finally clicked.
You're not really listening to the words. You're watching his hands. The way they move when he's excited. The way he pushes his hair back when he's thinking.
Ollie stops mid-sentence. "Are you even listening?"
"Not really."
"Rude."
"I'm listening to the important part."
"What's the important part?"
You set down your container. Crawl across the floor until you're sitting in front of him. Your knees touch.
"The important part," you say, "is that you're happy."
He blinks. His ears go pink.
"I'm always happy when you're here," he says.
"That's cheesy."
"I know."
"I love it."
He looks at you. At the cardboard box. At the takeout containers. At the whole ridiculous, imperfect, wonderful mess of his first apartment.
He thinks about all the things he wants. The races. The wins. The career he's building. But right now, sitting on the floor with you, he can't remember why any of that matters more than this.
"Ollie."
"Yeah?"
"You're doing that thing again."
"What thing?"
"The thing where you look at me like I'm the only thing in the room."
"You are."
"That's very smooth."
"I'm trying."
You lean forward. Kiss him. He's warm. He's here. He's yours.
The ceiling leaks. The neighbors are loud. The heating doesn't work.

(I was planning to turn this into a recurring series, so treat this as a teaser of some sort 😆)
Being young parents is difficult; hell, being normal-aged parents is hard, but being young parents with two kids under two? That was a whole different level of chaos.
They hadn't planned on having them quite so close together. They swore up and down they’d been careful the second time around, but clearly, life had a funny way of surprising them. So here they were: blessed with a one year old and a one month old, living on two hours of sleep, five cold cups of coffee, and pure delusion.
"Baby, it's okay, you really don't have to bring the cubs to the track. I can handle it," she murmured softly, watching her husband struggle to button his shirt. The cubs was their little nickname for their sons, Theo and Milo. Ollie was stubbornly insisting on taking both boys with him to work since it was just Media Day. He wanted so badly to give his wife a chance to breathe, to rest, to just be a human for a few hours.
Ollie gently shook his head, turning around to pull her close into a tight, lingering hug, resting his chin on her head before pressing a warm kiss into her hair. "No way, darling. I’ve got this. You stay right here and rest. Take a nap, or maybe take ten naps. You deserve every second of sleep, okay? Besides, I'm sure the journalists won't mind me holding a baby or two while I answer the same four questions I've answered a hundred times."
She let out a soft laugh, nuzzling deeply into his neck and breathing in his scent. "I love you, you know that?"
"Oh, I know," Ollie whispered, a faint, sweet smile tugging at his exhausted lips. "We’ve got two little Bearmans that prove it."
.☘︎ ݁˖ʕ´•ﻌ•`ʔ.☘︎ ݁˖
The first hour was actually surprisingly quiet. The drive over was peaceful. He had downloaded piano renditions of his favourite Taylor Swift songs on his phone and made sure to have them on repeat to keep the atmosphere in his car as calm as it could be. When they arrived, Ollie pushed the heavy double pram through the paddock, smiling warmly as engineers and staff waved at him and his tiny passengers. Even with dark circles under his pale eyes, he was a proud dad showing off his whole world.
Kimi spotted him first. "Hey, mate. You look like you haven't slept in days." Ollie gave a quiet, fond laugh. "That's because I haven't." Kimi patted his shoulder in consolation before bending down to smile into the stroller. "Hi kiddos, it's your favorite uncle," Kimi declared softly, wiggling his finger. Ollie rolled his eyes, but his smile only widened.
.☘︎ ݁˖ʕ´•ﻌ•`ʔ.☘︎ ݁˖
At the Haas Hospitality, Esteban was quick to approach, crouching down low with a big, gentle smile to greet the children. "Hey there, Little Ollies." Ollie spent a few moments chatting with his teammate about his kids and the activities lined up for them that day. Everything was going smoothly until the first wave of tears came through.
"Dada!" Milo whimpered out of nowhere. Then, with his tiny lip trembling, the one-year-old burst into a loud sob. "Oh no, Mi, what’s wrong, buddy?" Ollie’s dad instincts kicked in so fast. He quickly and carefully lifted his toddler, cradling him against his chest and swaying back and forth. "Are you hungry, sweet boy? Got a bellyache? What is it?" Milo tucked his tear-stained face into Ollie's shoulder, still crying. Ollie tried to soothe him with one hand and to check his diaper with the other, all while nervously watching little Theo, who was fast asleep in the stroller... for now.
Just as Ollie felt himself drowning in panic, Gabi stepped into the room with wide, open arms and the kindest expression. "Oh, meu amor, I could hear you crying from next door," Gabi cooed gently, stepping forward without a second thought. He softly lifted Milo out of Ollie’s overwhelmed arms and began bouncing in a slow, comforting rhythm. Almost instantly, Milo’s tiny sobs turned into quiet snuffles against Gabi's shoulder. Ollie let out a long, shuddering sigh of relief, his shoulders finally dropping. "Thanks, mate," he whispered, genuinely touched. Gabi just gave him a reassuring nod and a soft smile.
Before Ollie could even sink into a chair, tiny Theo stirred in the stroller and let out a fragile newborn cry. "Oh, sweet boy, Dada's got you," Ollie whispered softly, lifting the baby into his arms and holding him close to his heart. He gently offered a warm bottle, and to his overwhelming relief, Theo latched on right away. Just then, his manager stuck her head in. "Ollie, media tent in five." Ollie froze. He looked down at the tiny baby feeding peacefully against his chest, then over at Gabi, who was already sitting cross-legged on the carpet, gently playing peek-a-boo with a now-smiling Milo.
"Leave Milo with me, mate," Gabi said quietly, looking up with a gentle grin. "My sessions are all done anyway. We’ll just hang out."
"Are you sure, Gabs?" Ollie asked, his voice full of humble gratitude. "100%. Go on."
"I owe you," Ollie murmured, giving him a deeply grateful look before stepping out, cradling Theo close.
On his way to the media zone, he nearly ran into Max. "Hey Ollie. Hey, Little Ollie," Max greeted, stopping in his tracks with a surprisingly soft look in his eyes. "Hey Max," Ollie panted, checking his watch with a quick glance. "Sorry, I'd love to chat, but I'm running a bit behind for the interviews." Max took one look at Ollie's messy hair, his pale face, and the baby held tightly against his chest. His expression softened completely. "Here, let me hold him for a bit." Ollie hesitated, taking a step back. "No, Max, I couldn't possibly—"
"I insist," Max said softly, extending his hands. "You look like you're going to pass out any second. I've got him. Go do your work." Ollie looked into Max's calm eyes, then carefully placed his newborn into his steady arms. "Thank you so much. I promise I’ll be back as fast as I can."
"Take all the time you need," Max said gently, carefully cradling the tiny baby against his chest like it was the most natural thing in the world.
.☘︎ ݁˖ʕ´•ﻌ•`ʔ.☘︎ ݁˖
Ollie rushed through his interviews as fast as he could, but one interview led to an unexpected second round, which turned into a brief team photo request. Ten minutes stretched into forty, and forty stretched into two long hours. By the time Ollie was finally free, a wave of desperate guilt washed over him. He practically ran through the paddock, his chest tight, checking every garage. No sign of Gabi and Milo in the Audi hospitality. No sign of Max and Theo in Red Bull.
Where are they? His heart hammered against his ribs.
Then, over the soft hum of the engines and machinery, he heard it. A bright, unmistakable burst of laughter coming from the upper terrace. It was unmistakably Milo. Ollie ran up the stairs, taking them two at a time, and rounded the corner into the lounge.
The scene that met his eyes melted every ounce of panic instantly.
Half the grid was gathered together on the floor. Milo was being gently lifted in the air by Kimi while Gabi, Liam, Arvid, and Isack were doing ridiculous, silly dances just to hear him giggle. A few feet away on the plush sofa, Charles was holding little Theo with the utmost care, gazing down at the baby with the softest, warmest smile, while Lando, Oscar, Alex, Max, and Carlos sat beside him, patiently waiting for their turn to hold the baby next. Ollie stood in the doorway, his chest swelling with an emotion so thick and warm it brought prickles to his eyes. "Guys... oh man, I am so, so sorry I took so long..."
"Ollie!" they all called out softly, beaming at him. "Dada!" Milo squealed, reaching out his tiny, chubby arms. "Dada missed you so much, Mi!" Ollie walked over with a glowing, beautiful smile, sweeping Milo into his arms and kissing his little forehead over and over before setting him back down into Kimi's lap.
He then walked over to the couch, where Charles looked up at him with gentle eyes. "He's so adorable, Ollie. They both are," Charles whispered, carefully handing the sleeping newborn back to his father. "Thank you," Ollie choked out softly, pressing his cheek against Theo's head. "Gotta give all the credit to my wife, though."
Kimi then stood up, looking incredibly proud. "Hey, Ollie, look. We actually taught Milo something today." Gabi grinned from the floor. "Yeah, we worked on this for the last hour." Kimi made a tiny fist and held it out to the baby. "Milo, pound it!"
The one year old let out a giggle, balled up his tiny hand, and perfectly fist-bumped Kimi's knuckle, sending the entire room laughing. Ollie rolled his eyes so hard it almost hurt, but he couldn’t stop the massive, genuine laugh that escaped him.
.☘︎ ݁˖ʕ´•ﻌ•`ʔ.☘︎ ݁˖
For the next hour, they were in a room full of drivers sitting together, laughing quietly, taking turns passing the babies around, and making sure Ollie felt supported. It was the first time in months that he'd found himself able to breathe freely without overthinking the next diaper change or feeding schedule.
When it was finally time to go home, Kimi stayed behind for a second, clapping a warm, reassuring hand on Ollie’s shoulder. "You're doing great, mate," Kimi said softly. "If you two need a hand, never hesitate to call. You’ve got a whole team ready to help." He smiled, giving his best friend a tight side hug.
.☘︎ ݁˖ʕ´•ﻌ•`ʔ.☘︎ ݁˖
When Ollie finally unlocked the front door to their apartment that evening, the flat was quiet and dim. His wife was curled up on the couch in his oversized sweater with a bowl of chips, watching a movie.
The moment she heard the door open, she scrambled up. She quickly tied her hair up, washed her hands at the sink, and ran over to the doorway. "My babies! Mommy missed you so much," she said lovingly, gently taking Theo into her arms and kissing his head. She then sat down on the sofa, leaning over to press a soft kiss to Milo’s cheek as the toddler giggled softly. "Mama!"
Then she looked up and saw Ollie standing behind the sofa, watching them with eyes full of overwhelming love and devotion. "What about me?" Ollie pouted softly. "Don't I get a kiss too?" She let out a chuckle, motioning to the space beside her. As soon as Ollie plopped down, she moved over to press a tender, lingering kiss to his lips. "I missed you too, my big baby." They stayed silent for a bit. Ollie wrapped his arm around her as she held Theo in her arms and Milo leaning on her side.
She then looks up at him with a gentle grin. "How was your day with the cubs?" Ollie looked back at her with a contented smile, letting out a long, happy sigh.
"Well... let’s just say I think I found a way for us to actually get a full night of sleep."
Summary: Ferrari-era Ollie was basically “Charles’ kid” and although he got really close with his sister, dating her = off limits, but now that he is in Haas? It is also a PR nightmare.
