Challenge day 1. “Swift”

Anatomy is off, I know... but I didn’t want to use any tools to fix it as this is digital- I only ‘cheated’ with the eraser tool a little... lol. Tomorrow, I think I’ll try traditional ink. =)

Working on another random piece. I was inspired when I heard the song “Reflection” from the Mulan sondtrack and wanted to draw Mulan. So... there you go. I’m going to be showing the half painted face in this piece. This is just a WIP...obv.

So... this is an interesting comparison... haha.

Near the village of Rakjadale, is an underground volcano. This volcano aides in helping grow crops in the winter (at least food that grows well under the ground), provides a warm cave to live in during the harsher colder winter months and provides a very nice cozy ‘keep’ for the villages dragons.  Part of the area also has a hot spring, the water warmed by the volcanic activity, but not to the degree that it’s dangerous. On the contrary, it’s quite nice and relaxing.  Adaleide is the Commander of her clan. The youngest to ever rule- and her clan is an all female clan. She isn’t used to men really at all, but she does end up meeting one (another clan leader) due to circumstances that caused their two clans to collide. She decides to take him to the hot springs and- wrapped tightly in a big thick fur- she walks with him to it, he none the wiser that the fur is all she is wearing.... ~

Stepping to the water, she slips the fur off from her shoulders, turning her head slightly to look at Ivarr with lips parted a little. “Come on... the water is fine...” she says with a soft smile before slipping into the hot water, letting the fur fall on the ground before she is fully immersed, giving him quite the tease. ~

The runes on her back are from top to bottom: Truth, duty, discipline, warrior Wisdom Strength Protect from evil majick sex, grounded, balance Energy

*Other pattern around the runes inspired by a tattoo I googled.

Jaden is a half-demon under the control of an evil siren. She requires him to find her her feasts- and so he does her bidding though he absolutely hates her for it- wanting to be free. Still, being part demon, he doesn’t entirely hate his work, just would rather do it under his own direction instead of under duress. Still, he’s a super creepy dude you don’t want to meet in a dark alley... or a well lit one- that’s for sure.

He doesn’t carry the scythe with him all the time- he can make it appear and disappear at will- through a cloud of black smoke. 

Yes, idea is based off the final season of the Vampire Diaries, but I worked it for my own. So there. =P
