anyyy o!sky cute/random lore??
The group stops fairly often, more often than their non-omegaverse counterparts would. It's hard to hide things like discomfort or injury when your companions are attuned not just to your posture and mannerisms but also your scent, and Time is less likely to wait for one of them to admit that they need a break. Most common reasons for each of them include:
Sky's heat intolerance. It completely saps him of energy, which is a combat risk, too. He eventually invests in a short-sleeved under tunic for travel in some regions.
Twilight has the greatest amount of stamina among the group, but he will try (and fail) to hide injuries now and then.
Hyrule obviously wanting to explore a given area off of the trail. Time just likes to see him happy.
Warriors and Legend both have a list of old injuries that bother them on any given day but especially when it's cold or when rain or snow is coming. Their hikes are slower on those days.
Wild's physical licks don't seem to bother him as much as the others' (thanks, Sheikah Soup), but he will have periods of dissociation and anxiety that leave him quiet and withdrawn. There's usually a rest period once Wild's funk passes.
Four will sometimes get a little too obsessed with making sure the others' gear is in tip-top shape, especially after a tough battle where someone gets injured. Any attempt to move the group before he's finished makes him snappy and anxious. But this gives them longer periods of rest among civilization, too.
Wind is young and spry and full of energy, so there's rarely a reason to slow down the group on his account. But he's going to age on this trip--and at some point present, too. When the others can tell that his hormones are getting high they tend to linger close to places where it might be wise to ride out a first rut. So far, though, those have all been false alarms.
Time refuses to slow down for his own sake. He was known to go days without sleep in the beginning, at least before the bond. But stopping for the others affords him enough time to rest his own aches and pains, although being too sedentary makes the noise in his mind get to be too much sometimes. Following his knee injury, the group does tend to go a bit slower on the road.
