To launch KonMari’s first-ever product to the media, HudsonGray created a pop-up experience that touched upon all of the senses. To bring the product and overall KonMari philosophy to life, HudsonGray designed the “ideal living situation” blending the KonMari brand aesthetic with a first-hand look at the product before it enters the consumer product space. Organizational expert Marie Kondo was on hand to meet with editors and demonstrate her method and the different ways the product can be utilized for universal tidying and creating spaces of happiness, serenity, and inspiration. Editors had the opportunity to take photos of the product, receive a formal lookbook and request samples for press placements in leading publications.
