New Year Post
Honestly I don't think 2023 was the worst year. If I had to name it, that'd be 2020. Compared to the darkness and the fear and the stress, 2023 was pretty normal. But it wasn't easy and I know that I'm also looking back rosy on it, because of the New Year energy.
I want to do better this year. Break old mindsets and build new ones. I want to feel better, and I'm going to try.
Jan 1 - 2, 2024
Started the year off right with discord calls with friends. We always ring in the New Year together, whether reminiscing or playing games. And last night we just kinda vibed and worked creatively until well after Midnight.
There's something so special about being able to sit in silence with someone. Just take comfort in their presence, and be free to simply exist.
If anything is a New Year Resolution for me, I want to spend more time idly with my friends.
