He respects and love Irene, a mother living by her own while her husband is in jail. She would be considered terrible things by an Incel, but The Driver doesn't Care. He loves her, he cares about her son

They're the only things that humanize him while he's sorrounded by violance and greed.

He's violent when his working, with anyone: Men, Women. Because he knows they're like him, dirty people. He doesn't consider himself worth of Irene's love, he knows he's dangerous and a bad influence to be around with.

I made this back in April because we were doing character design in my least favorite class with my least favorite medium: digital art. Using Adobe Illustrator which is my arch nemesis, while also using vectors. It made me wanna throw both my iPad and laptop out the window.

this movie isn't about the text, but about the subtext. it's a subliminal movie for the subconscious mind and it all comes together beautifully at the end.
