Right now there is a proposal for pedestrian safety test requirements for cars and trucks. Please comment on it if you would like to see SUVs and pickups with tall ass hood lines regulated. I regularly see trucks and suvs with hoods at my chest (I'm 5'4"). There is no way children can cross in front of these vehicles safely.

We are behind a medium sized fence separating train tracks from a gravel and dirt access road. Narrow steel bollards, painted mint-green, protect the flimsy fence. On the tracks, a Melbourne X'Trapolis train in blue, silver and yellow Metro livery has just entered the Westona Station passing loop, heading away from Laverton.
