Niall’s LA home was monumental, certainly further than a man could travel in a day. Well, if that man was a mouse. Which, Niall had discovered this morning, he was.

see, even if she DOES know now, i don’t think she knew at first? there was a whole long stretch of time at the beginning where she was able to get to know him and fall in love with him. and sure, maybe then there was a period of time in there where he was weird and a little Off, but...y’know...it’s a weird time in the world so who can blame him. plus they were still in the getting to know you phase, so it was easy to kind of just brush it off and move on. so by the time she found out, she was already well and truly into him, and of course it was a bit of a shock, but after a bit of time to get used to the idea, she was all good with it 🤷‍♀️

as far as mully goes, he definitely knows—it would be difficult (tho not impossible, i suppose) to be best friends with someone for 20+ years and NOT notice or realize that they’re actually a clone—but he gives so little of a shit about it that most aren’t really sure if he knows or not? to the point where any and all conversations having to do with niall’s clone status are generally had in hushed tones far away from mully, until the day comes when mully accidentally overhears a conversation and very casually asks if they’re talking about the niall being a clone thing, and they’re all shocked to realize that he actually DOES know.

bressie also knows and has for a long time, but he questions and struggles with the morals and ethics of the whole thing more than most, so he tends to be a bit denial about it? he fell for HIS niall way back in the day but time and distance got in between them, and by the time they were reunited HIS niall wasn’t HIS niall anymore. he tried to make it work (weekend of love 2017). he tried SO fucking hard to see this niall as HIS niall, but it was like that episode of black mirror where *spoilers* even tho the clone looks and feels the same and has all the same memories, there are all these little nuances and subtleties that can’t be replicated and just emphasize that this version of him is Not Actually Him. after that realization, bressie’s heart was broken and he had to distance himself because it was too difficult to constantly be reminded that HIS niall was gone.
