okay but the other day i realised that the scene in soc during the ice court heist when matthias sees brum coming and intercepts and pretends to play nice with him and puts nina in the cell only to double cross brum bc he was protecting nina all along perfectly mirrors the beginning of helnik's story when nina put matthias in hellgate trying to protect him from the ravkan soldiers. my heart 😭
