Holiday Pictures 2023! (part 1)
Happy Holidays, everyone! This year I decided to put together some pictures of various folks. Theyâre all in a style that makes them seem shorter than usual. I did my best to get them looking good, so apologies if thereâs any errors. Admittedly I had only planned to make eight of these, but I had experienced a drive to keep making more â a phenomenon thatâs been incredibly rare for me these days â so that number expanded to 16. Theyâre mostly featuring folks on Twitter that I know, like, and/or admire in some meaningful capacity, so I hope they all like what Iâve put together!
For NS-Games, itâs the âFix-It Catâ Collin LiBee. A very good friend whoâs good with computer problems, and has been making some nice art to boot! Heâs wearing his purple shirt today, and showing off a laptop with a familiar wallpaper design.
For PetrarchEleven, itâs his protogen character Ramune! He seems to be having a good time, dancing and waving those glowing batons all around. He just needs to be careful! If he doesnât watch where he goes he could accidentally fall to pieces!
For Saturnâs Rings and Colonel Sandwich, itâs their respective characters Saturn and Terry, posing together for this one. Early on this year Saturn had asked for a picture of the two together, and this was the opportunity to do it. They are indeed a cute pair!
For Treevis, itâs his character Lytzyv, dashing and looking cool. I think this is the fourth iteration of him that I had made, with little tweaks in design each time. I donât see too many images of him these days, so hopefully I got all the details down.
For VAdaPEGA, itâs Pantufa the Cat, as he appears in the âExtended Editionâ of his game. I always thought he looked good in that attire. But with how small he is, I didnât think it was enough, so Honker is here as well! Itâs a two-fer! (Or maybe a âToof-erâ?)
For Cooper the Husky, we haveâŚCooper the Husky! Heâs got a cute art style and characters to match, so I tried to keep with some of the aesthetic. I particularly liked his âmodern outfit,â so thatâs what heâs wearing here.
For Miles Fox, it's Charlotte, the main character of his work-in-progress, âSLAY-BELLS!â She seemed like an appropriate character to draw this time of year. I somehow ended up making her look like something from a Rankin-Bass specialâŚwhich I guess is also appropriate.
For HunterBahamut, this is Hunter. I had drawn Bahamut a few times before, but this is the first time I made this one â I opted for his black-and-white iteration.. Iâm not sure if heâs running away from or towards danger, but he sure looks like heâs ready to confront it either way.
Quite a few so far! And we're only halfway through!
