I HATE THE NEW ARC THAT "The guy she was interested in, wasn't a guy at all" IS TAKING. I HATE IT I HATE IT I HATE IT.
It should have ended back when they kissed after the dance, maybe even a little bit later but before the whole uni arc started. I hateeeeeeeeee it.
THEY BUTCHERED MITSUKI'S CHARACTER. Not because she's dealing with the fact that music, her passion doesn't fulfill her or because of her miscommunication (tho a bit) BUT BECAUSE SHE SA'D AYA. AYA WAS DRUNK AND DIDN'T REMEMBER JACKSHIT FROM WHAT HAPPENED THAT NIGHT. SHE COULDN'T HAVE CONSENTED.
"oh but she wanted it" SHE WAS DRUNK AND THERE'S A PANEL OF HER CLEARLY STATING "I can't remember anything from what happened last night. I feel asleep on the couch and woke up on the bed" AND MITSUKI HADN'T DRINK ANYTHING. MITSUKI WAS CONSCIOUS AND AYA WASN'T.
And don't even start with the "oh it's okay because they're dating". DO NOT. Dating someone does NOT equal to giving away your consent for your partner or have your body be used by them whenever you want.
Worst part it, the manga frames it as if Mitsuki isn't as bad as she actually is. Yes she's depressed and feels empty inside and has problems communicating her feelings but it's not an excuse for her to treat Aya like that.
The lastest chapters make me even more mad because they think that just a couple of cute scenes where Mitsuki cares for Aya is gonna fix it.
