oh my fucking god you people apparently cant grasp the concept of "just because you love a person and mean well doesnt mean youre gonna fully understand them or do everything right". naruto isnt sasukes lapdop he is his own person and has his own path and circumstances that shaped his views and he is going to disagree with sasukes methods, especially when they are so extreme and especially when they are so harmful to sasuke himself. naruto doesnt have to 100% understand sasuke to prioritise his well-being and rightfully conclude that his plan of becoming a lonely martyr for the rest of eternity is not fucking good for him?? and that his self-isolating tendencies are not good for him in general??

like you people will hail the uchihas for their ability to uwu love soooo strongly but then deny sasuke his precious bonds because you dont like them??? you call naruto wanting sasuke to stop pushing people away "oversimplifying it"??? i am so irritated at yall projecting your politics onto sasuke and completely disregarding him as a character with his own backstory and his own motivations, its like yall dont actually like the character, only the aspect of him being a genocide survivor revolutionary. i am sorry but he is not as woke and selfless as you people think he is. change, revolution, cannot be achieved alone, sasuke doesnt share new information he receives with anyone, he doesnt discuss his next course of action with anyone else, he just decides hes going to do something on his own based on his own experiences, not taking anyone elses into account because hes only interested in things wrt his own views, he learned this independency because of his trauma that has to do with bonds, his arc is very heavily about bonds and love and, yes, trauma, naruto isnt against changing things hes only against sasukes methods ffs and him not going through with anything in boruto is as much a disservice to him as it is to sasukes character.

sasuke never even lost for gods sake the fight was a tie hello??? sasuke winning would be sasuke killing his last precious person and succumbing to a lonely numb existence forever, do you want THAT for him??? do you think THAT would be a good ending??
