Well, dear friends, another year is about to slip away. A new one will be along soon presenting, I hope, new goals & adventures for us all. I wanted to let you know what my plans are for the last days of the year.
I'm queueing posts at the moment & my Christmas card will be on the Dashboard in the morning. After that I will be posting my review of the year starting with my TUMBLR PHOTOGRAPHY BLOG OF THE YEAR on Christmas Eve.
On the following days I'll be posting my personal favourite images in landscape, architecture, street, a self indulgent one & mobile photography before rounding off with the image that has given me the most satisfaction. I'll also be naming the best photography exhibition or festival I went to in 2013.
Now, I'm naming this series of posts "MY TUMBLR PHOTOGRAPHY REVIEW 2013". It's my own work I'm publishing but for those of you who haven't yet posted your personal favourites images please feel free to either #tag or use the "My Tumblr Photography Review 2013" name, I won't object. Indeed, I'm encouraging it & perhaps at the end of 2014 we might get our own photography feature from Tumblr themselves.
Thank you for indulging me over the past weekend as I reblogged some of images that didn't make the cut for featuring in my "Best of" posts. It's been great seeing some early shots from this year getting a new, if brief, lease of life.
Finally, news of what I'm hoping to do next year. I'm certainly going to reduce the number of posts to probably two or three a week. I want to move more into black and white landscape work because that is my first love in photography. I've got a few new images ready and the first will be posted on 2nd January 2014. By reducing the posts I'll be able to spend more time making images & exploring Tumblr.
Well, that's my housekeeping for the end of the year sorted… almost time to sign off for this year. My post in the morning has a message for everyone here especially those who I follow & those who are kind enough to follow me.
Goodnight, dear friends… and thanks again. I really am blessed.
