I used to be the god of this miserable fucking school. I could do anything I wanted and no one could stop me.

And then you killed me with that stupid prank.

I fell for weeks.

Before I landed, something spoke to me.

He said I was special, 'cause I'd always seen the world for what it was.

He said he liked me. He didn't want to see my story end like that. I hadn't gotten what I wanted yet.

He said I could make all the nerdy prudes pay for what they did to me. And then I'd finally get what I want. He kept singing it, some stupid melody— "What do you want, Max?"

So I told him, nerdy prudes must

MAX: I thought I killed you freaks already.

MAX: Whatever. This time, I'm gonna start with you...

MAX: Grace.

MAX: You gave me what I always wanted. And then you betrayed me!

MAX: You sent me to a place worse than hell.

GRACE: Thank gosh, there they are!

RUTH: Are you guys okay!?

PETE: Yeah... I think Grace saved our lives. Did you run into anyone glitching on your way here?

RICHIE: We passed Miss Mulberry but she just yelled at us to stop running in the hallway.

PETE: I'm glad. Let me tell you about the shit we just went through...

STEPH: I was so close to throwing myself at Reese. That was really stupid.

MAX: Don't be so hard on yourself, Steph. I know what this feels like, and Mr. Keane tells me not to keep thinking about stuff that's in the past. You didn't do it, so you're chill. Y'know?

STEPH: Yeah. Thanks, Max.

MAX: Plus, I dunno if that was really Reese, so... maybe she deserved it?

PETE: Holy shit! Steph, are you good?

PETE: Wait... Max?
