Honestly, California is undeniably great and objectively beautiful…. I think I just hate myself too much to allow myself to enjoy it hahaha. I’m Texas scum and ought to crawl back from whence I came!! Jk I’m just squirrelly and antsy and feel like I just gotta GO after a certain point of staying somewhere. I’m getting all homesick for Texas even though I fucking hated living in Texas the whole time I was there lol. I really need to knock out all the things there are to do before leaving SD though. I haven’t done even close to all the stuff San Diego has to offer. I think I need to do more outdoor things. Maybe find some peace in nature. And I need to go to some art openings, museums. I’ll probably try to do a few more table-y art sale zine things here and in LA. But yeah- no offense to SD and California, it’s not you, it’s me. Maybe I just miss the rush of a “new beginning” and the delusion that maybe I’ll turn into an entirely different person if ONLY I could live near the beach! Or near a mountain! Or near a river! (Etc.) Ya know, that whole cliche thing that people say. Cliches are cliches for a reason. As a human cliche, I should know. But ahh, I keep forgetting: i need to figure out my healthcare situation if I move out of state again. It took forever to get my health insurance set up here in CA so idk, I may need to stay here depending on state-to-state requirements. But truthfully, I probably just need a therapist lol. Not a cross country move.
