I sent a message to Autism Speaks on their facebook page. I’m pasting it below.
A large number of Autistic people and our supporters rated your facebook page with one star, and reviewed the page posting our opinions. Now you have disabled the rating system since it does not reflect that people love your organization that does very little to actually help real live autistic people who could use the funds you siphon off of society. Why won't you let our voices be heard? Why do you insist on talking over us? Why do you claim to speak for us or for Autism? Why do you make such horrible claims about Autistic people causing marriages to fail, causing bankruptcy, etc.? When will you change your ways and put your money toward actually providing services for autistic people? Why do you only help people who you claim are 'severely' Autistic? Are you ever going to change?
