Henry Louis Gates, Jr. was arrested at his home after trying to force open the locked fronr door. He even showed identification and was still arrested.

Gabriella Calhoun was beaten severely by members of the Bloomington, IL police department after following a male friend who being detained by police without any reason. She was charged initially, but was later acquitted of all charges.
