Been thinking about cosplay plans and whatnot for the spring and I don't know that I have the wherewithal to make a costume this year because I am le tired.
I had to abandon my plans for egl/ega last year because none of the outfits I wanted to wear fit me anymore (bodies change; did you know that? apparently I forgot). So I threw together some ensembles that I liked well enough--I got to calling them "comfy kawaii" in my own head. Kind of thinking I'll do that.
I've got glasses, money, time, energy, and a hatred of wigs in my way. Might just be a "comfy kawaii" kinda year.
Alice in Wonderland pastiches and re-imaginings are so passé, especially if they're a "dark re-imagining." But I still kinda wanna knock something together about Mary Anne, the White Rabbit's housekeeper.
