If you deal with any kind of physical pain/disability that limits you, whether it's chronic or temporary, have you had older folks dismiss your struggles out of hand as not that bad because of your age? And if so, do you find it really frustrating/disheartening to hear?
(assuming you are under age 50+ or had your issues start before then ofc)
- I HAVE experienced that & it is frustrating
- I HAVE experienced that & feel a different way
- I have NOT experienced that but would be frustrated
- I have NOT experienced that but would feel a different way

(respectfully wanna take my older coworkers by the shoulders and be like "just because I'm 30 and not 60+ does not inherently mean my issues are lesser or less valid than yours, and also please take some time to explore why you seem to think it does" bc I have Had It with this "you're young, wait til you're my age/you're not getting any sympathy from me" sort of attitude and it has only ever made me feel worse.)
