My Journey to Becoming a Psychic: From Childhood Curiosity to Universal Connection

From the outside, psychic journeys often appear sudden — a “switching on” of otherworldly awareness. In reality, they are long, winding pilgrimages across inner landscapes. My own path did not begin with a flash of lightning. Instead, it unfolded slowly, like a thousand whispers from the Universe guiding me toward my calling.

As a child, I felt energies in temples before I had words for them. As a boy, I read words in total darkness. As a grieving brother, I asked how my sibling knew the day of his passing. And later, as an adult, I discovered the invisible curtain between human perception and universal consciousness could be lifted — not by force, but by surrender.

Today, after decades of experiences, visions, synchronicities, and spiritual practices, I can look back and say with clarity: every joy, every tragedy, and every question was preparing me for my psychic awakening.

I was born in the Puratashi month on a Saturday, an auspicious time devoted to Lord Venkatachalapathi. My father was a rational, pragmatic man, while my mother was a deeply devotional soul who prayed to many Hindu gods. Between them, I learned something powerful: reason and faith are not enemies. They can live in one heart.

As a child, I loved visiting temples and festivals. I didn’t just see idols and rituals — I felt the hum of subtle energy vibrating in those spaces. Even without understanding, I knew these forces were real.

At my Seventh Day Adventist School, I first noticed my unusual sensitivities. I would read books while walking, memorizing lessons with unusual ease. One night, I found myself reading in complete darkness — as though the words imprinted themselves on my mind before I turned on the light.

Other signs emerged: I once carried both my heavy schoolbag and that of a sick friend with no sense of burden. That day I realized: when you carry others’ pain, your own becomes lighter.

The Tragedy that Changed Everything: My Brother’s Prophecy

On 22 December 1991, I lost my elder brother Rajesh. He was compassionate and gentle, especially toward animals. Months earlier, a rabid puppy had bitten him. Though doctors later confirmed he showed no symptoms, Rajesh somehow knew his time was near.

On his final day, he visited sacred temples, spoke prophecies about our family’s future, and radiated a divine presence. That night, he passed away peacefully in his sleep.

I was just 10 years old. I didn’t yet understand death, prophecy, or divine grace. But one question ignited in my heart and has never left since: How did he know?

That question became the seed of my spiritual search. In the darkness of my room, I declared that one day people would listen to me speak for hours. I longed to touch the dimension that my brother had touched.

Realising My Psychic Calling: The Curtain Falls Away

For years, I practiced guided meditations, studied hypnotism, and experimented with mental focus. Each time, I brushed against the edges of something beyond ordinary perception.

The turning point came in 2010, during deep coaching sessions. It felt as though an invisible curtain dropped. Suddenly, I could sense unspoken truths, read emotions hidden behind words, and feel energetic patterns in others as if they were written on their faces.

The connections came unexpectedly — while riding a motorbike, during phone conversations, even with strangers. These were not parlor tricks. They were real insights that emerged only when my mind was completely still.

I realized: psychic awareness is not “extra” at all. It is part of the natural human design, accessible when we quiet the noise of logic and open ourselves to the infinite.

Encounters Beyond the Physical: Messages from the Other Side

Over time, I also experienced encounters with those who had passed on. Sometimes in dreams, sometimes in coaching sessions, sometimes in unexplained synchronicities.

For example, in 2010, a close friend passed away in his sleep. That same night, I felt a crushing weight on my chest as if someone was trying to reach me. Later, I realized it was him. The message I received: “People waste time assuming they will live forever. Live now.”

Such moments deepened my conviction that death is not the end. Consciousness continues, seeking connection, healing, and completion.

Becoming a Psychic: Serving Others

My true transformation came when I realized psychic gifts were not for me alone. They were meant for service.

Through coaching sessions, phone calls, and even spontaneous encounters, I helped people release past traumas, reconnect with lost loved ones, and discover their own inner strength.

Sometimes, the results were dramatic — lifelong fears disappearing in a single night, financial breakthroughs after clearing subconscious blocks, or sudden healings over the phone.

Aug 18 - Chili and rice for supper.

Aug 19 - Partially cleaned the bathroom. Made Tandoori chicken wraps for supper.

Aug 20 - Brother decided to cook, he grilled hamburgers and made a salad.

Aug 21 - Finished the first ball of yarn for the baby blanket I'm currently working on, the height worked out to slightly more than 1/4 the width so the four balls I have are enough for the solid centre of the blanket, but I'm going to need one more ball to crochet a decorative border around it:

I made a ground beef and chick pea curry that it's been a while since I last cooked. We had it with rice and a tomato & cucumber salad.
