A Snippet From Night Of The Justified Deaths
A recent snippet from the in-progress sequel to Night Of The Blue Moon, Night Of The Justified Deaths! This is the extended version of the scene I posted on my Instagram:
“That’s why she wants him dead?”
Solana grimaced as Ariel squeezed her hand. Ariel was in disbelief over what Phoebe had just said, and Solana thought that it was crazy too.
“Yes. I can only imagine that it’s because she thinks that he ruined her life,” Phoebe said grimly, “She lost her scholarship at Tulane University, and she was sentenced to six years in prison.”
“But that was her own fault. All Raphael did was call the police on her for what she did to him,” Ariel said bluntly, “Addison Cooper deserved everything that happened to her.”
“Who is she?” Solana gasped.
Ariel looked at her like she’d asked why the sky was blue. “She’s ShikabaneNoTsuma, the hacker who leaked Raphael’s address when he was hospitalised last year. She’s also the reason why he had to move to the other side of New Orleans.”
Solana nodded grimly, instantly knowing who she was talking about. Addison Cooper, or ShikabaneNoTsuma, as she called herself online, was a fan of Raphael’s who claimed to be in love with him, and she didn’t take it well when he came out as aroace in a YouTube video. Once she’d gotten hold of his address, she’d stalked him for months, sending him flowers and love letters written with her period blood, claiming that she could ‘fix him’. The final straw had been when she’d shown up at his apartment door, refusing to let him enter unless he kissed her, and when he’d turned around and called the police, she’d tackled him from behind to try and stop him, screaming for him not to ruin her life, which, ironically, had gotten her an assault charge on top of everything she’d already done.
