Luke’s heart was pounding. Even before he saw her, he could sense her. He could feel his sister through the Force even when he was a little boy on Shili, but now that the twins were actually only a short distance away, the sense was stronger and clearer. 

The padawan looked up and saw his twin for the first time in the flesh. He would have known her anywhere, even if they hadn’t met face to face before. Luke didn’t stop himself, letting himself run over to her. He said nothing to her as he stood before her. A moment later, he wrapped his arms around her in a warm embrace. An embrace that he had literally been waiting for years to do. 

“Leia.” He finally spoke her name.

It had taken Amilyn long enough to get used to the etiquette of shaking hands and greeting new people, and even longer to come to terms with the fact that these things were required of her as a rebel almost as frequently as they had been as a member of the empire. Oh, she could put up a convincing front if she wanted to, but had a habit of staring off into space that she just couldn’t seem to shake. Today, she was particularly distracted. Luckily for Amilyn—as well as for the hapless new recruits she had been feigning adequate interest in—the source of her distraction had just stepped into view.

Leia appeared to be a little weary from her travels but other than that looked flawless as always. Making her apologies quickly and politely, Amilyn strode across the room towards her, long legs making quick work of the space between them until she stood by the much shorter woman’s side, grinning down at her in a way that was probably bordering on goofy.

The nightmares were something that Ben thought would have stopped by now. He thought that and the voices would have both stopped but if anything they were stronger than ever and it frightened him. The one thing he didn’t wan to do was bother his parents about something he assumed was all just in his head. He knew both his mother and father had a lot going on and a lot of responsibilities and he didn’t want to bother them with this. But this night he’d woken to that voice he heard in the nightmare that plagued him.

It was one that scared him the most though and he had woken up in the middle of the night wanting to make sure that everything was still the same. That his parents were okay and still there and that’s why he had made his way to their room. All he wanted was to cuddle with his mother, to be close to her and make sue this wasn’t some dream. He hated the nightmares and he wanted them to just go away.

Euron looked the woman over- she was young enough to be called a girl, really, but she was to be his brother’s rock wife, to be their queen, so he supposed he should think of her as a woman.
