oh my god me too; roommate & I are both hiding in kigus and coughing and napping the day away

My mom also has a cold!! Apparently there’s something going around. My housemate literally left on vacation the morning i woke up with the cold so i have to suffer without him. I really hope he didn’t get it too and took it with him on his vacation...

ew yeah that’s totally not irrational to still dislike her for that. especially combined with how weird and persistent and not respectful of your boundaries she’s being. gross.

Yeaaaah. I think the reason I feel bad about it is that I know her life was really shitty at the time. She’s always lived with mental illness with parents who did NOT deal with it correctly at all. and then the time I met her was partway through her first year at her new school, which was a really ritzy private catholic school where the other girls were pretty mean and judged her for the fact that her family was not rich.

so basically it feels irrational becasue even at the time I knew she was dealing with a really shitty life and was having such a hard time fitting in at school. And now I 100% know she was projecting on me. So i understand why she did it. she was young and hurting and ended up lashing out at me.

but that doesn’t take away from the fact that it bothered me a lot

and yeah, i think the persistence is due to her mental illness and the fact that she has become friends with the other person of our group back then, so i guess maybe she thinks about me enough? but yeah. ugh.

It’s a 1 bedroom, 709 square feet, so decent size but not enormous. It’s about halfway between where I live now and Atlanta, so I’ll be a lot closer to fun things with people around my age :)

also honestly with the whole hs ending thing, i’ve been remembering my days as brodad and honestly, what a crazy time that was??? like, i was living the fanfiction writing dream. i had a lot of followers on that side blog, got lots of notes on each chapter, had fanart drawn for my fics, met soooooo many of my favorite mutuals through it, i actually was part of a fandom ship competition thing with other big dave/tav writes/artists, like?????? Looking back on it now I’m like “wtf that actually happened that was something that happened to me????”

like at this point it almost feels like that happened to someone else, haha.
