Little Gizmo was put down last week because he deteriorated so fast to the point he could barely walk or clean himself. His owners should be ashamed of leaving him outside in this weather all these years.

He should have been inside in a nice warm home. He was 14 years old and was outside for years without his owners feeding him or taking any kind of care of him.

The woman at the end of the street took care of him and the other cats the best she could even taking Gizmo to the vets to get his teeth checked out a few years back. She was also the one that told the owners about Gizmos condition over the last few weeks. They had no idea and just took him in to the vet to get him put to sleep.

Even after I made that post about it not working out keeping him in I still let him come inside on the cold and rainy days if he was around. Give him a break him the weather and some nice wet food to enjoy I wish I could have given him one final nap in a warm spot before he went.
