One time I was staring out the window and I said outloud to my fiancé “I love how the orange tones of that building looks when the sun hits its it perfectly with the contrast of the blue sky.” (I live in nyc so it’s just buildings ok) He was in awe.. and just appreciated my appreciation of colors lol.

My favorite time of the day is sunrise and sunset because I love how the sun hits certain buildings, there’s something nostalgic about the color of the sky during these times, I think because I’m not an early bird the rarity of the sight makes all the more special to me.

As for sunset I especially enjoy when the sky turns a subtle red tone before fading into purples. Whenever the sky turns red I just stare for a while, I wonder if skies on mars are this shade.

I went on a bit longer than I expected... I also say “my love” to my fiancé and I have red hair. 😩 (granted it’s a crimson dyed red).
