DPxDC Fanfic Idea: That's Not How Marriage Contracts Work
Starts with the typical Ghost King/League of Shadows/random cult forced marriage contract plotline, but instead of Danny and Damien or whatever other Batfam member falling for each other out of nowhere, Danny instead just reminds the people trying to force the contract that, since Danny, the Ghost King, is the more powerful party and the one that they are trying to get something from, he doesn't have to sign shit. Their 'sacrificial bride' clearly isn't into it, Danny isn't up for forcing someone to marry him, and Danny also just doesn't want to help the nutcases who summoned him. So no, he will not be enslaving some random hero to be his spouse; he won't be playing along with this, and, quite frankly, after this whole experience, he now will never have any interest in the attempted sacrifice as a romantic partner at all.
