I’ve decided to update my Megaloceros painting, but then I realised I’d basically be repainting most of it, and that I suck at short, dense fur, so… practice. From this image by R_Winkelmann on pixabay. I’m really happy with this guy, so hopefully Megaloceros will look better after the update, and not worse. Also, as a side note, the original photo is probably my favourite picture of a fallow deer ever. I just love his expression.
