for context for like the past 3 years (like school years) i was like “im aro!” bc something just wasn’t adding up. i couldn’t just call myself straight bc i never felt the same as my friends who are. and i had never had a crush (if i did i didn’t realize) and i made myself have one to “fit in”. but like something about that title wasn’t right. something wasn’t clicking it didn’t feel like that was truly me. but i went with it bc it got me out of “omg who’s your crush” questions during those years bc those were PROMINENT and i hated them. i mean how can you not when you’ve literally never had one. 😭😭😭 anyways. beginning of this school year i was like “i need to figure this out. this is going to bother me” so i researched stuff in the aro spectrum. and for a while now i’ve debated if im truly this but. i am. i’ve always kinda known that this title fits me. this title is what i am but i didn’t want to jump to conclusions. all this to say. i’m demiromantic and i’ve never felt more happy about a fucking word. 😭😭 a singular word. never thought i would say a single word made me happy but whatever. oh and im ace. i’ve known that for forever. but might as well add that.
