I just watched Grian's episode 7 and
I need someone to write a fic about Scar with his train stopping in this weird town where there seemed to only be two people: the strange girl with a sword who's away on her boat catching nightmare-inducing fish and the one fisherman who's focused on fishing mending. Every time Scar enters a shop or the town hall or anything, it's the fisherman behind the counter. Scar is slowly turning insane. Doesn't help that he now sees floating fishes and snails larger than him. It would be a good comedy/descent in madness fic imo.
Tango in chapter 8 be like-
DeadlyHuggles and SpaceGrillXD on AO3 commented about Tango having a powerpoint presentation ready and I couldn't not make this.
A Nor Update
Hi. It's been a little while.
If you are wondering where I have been, here's a little update for you. I have a very intense job during spring/summer/autumn that takes a lot of energy out of me, so writing has been slow. But! More importantly, I have joined Projet LUMEN.
If you are a Life Series fan and you don't know what that project is about, you should definitely check the blog out, but in a nutshell, it's a video game retelling of Third Life. It takes a lot of my spare time (and is going to be amazing. We just finished the first revision of the script and it's uergiezh).
Does that mean I have stopped working on the Canary of the Black Mines? No. In fact, I will do my best to post a new chapter before the end of Febuary. I just don't know if I should focus on the next part of Jimmy's journey or if now is the time for a Tango interlude. But, work is happening. I promise.
I wish you a happy New Year 2026. May this year be full of stories and Decked Out.

Update on The Canary of the Black Mines - Chapter 15
I wasn't expecting to give this update. The chapter is done. Granted, I didn't write it from scratch because I cut what I had in two. But you guys have no idea how hard the end of this was. And I just... finished it today. Out of the blue. I'll be proofreading for sure, but it's going to be posted soon.
Current word count: 4,9 words. Here's a little spoilery preview out of context under the cut (It might be my favourite quote of this whole fic.)

Update on The Canary of the Black Mines - Chapter 14
I have most of my outline and key conversation points ready. I have been writing on paper instead of my computer though (the thing has been having battery issues lately so it's a bit of a pain). I'm very happy with the progress and how inspired I am right now so I will try to ride the wave.
I might make a separate post about this but when everything is done and posted I intend to go back and add parts and chapter titles to the fic. If you have recommendations for the titles, feel free to share! Just letting you know we are in Part 2 of the fic right now :)
