See here’s the thing - people are not puzzles or rhymes to be figured rather they ought to be felt, people are not poet’s past times to be poetried nor curiosities to be questioned for query’s sake. People perhaps choose to be and simply ‘be’ beyond peoples prying and as hard as it might be to respect, boundaries are the fundamentals of politeness and as obvious as it is, boundaries should be respected. Here it must be said that It is also not rude or other wise to maintain ones set space especially when push comes to shove because that is exactly why personal space must be defended. People are individuals and just as I am not you and you are not me, as close as we may be, (even twins have separate bodies) it is also what makes it possible at all for us as humans to change and grow and to transmute above and beyond our human natures and means to inner depths of soul that would otherwise be impossible and denied us.
Relating to each other, no matter the preferred levels of communication or caution it is never an invitation to the other to cross boundaries of comfort level or impose personal notions of necessary socialization upon another as everyone has a place and role to play in the vast arena of personalities and types and personae and anyone who expresses such personal expression without taking away the rights, freedoms and liberties of another to do just the same is entitled NOT to be shamed or guilt-ed for their own participation level of so called socialization, which for the most part has been used as a tool to get a handle on a person for vested interests by all the systems and sundry.
All this is more especially so and needs be said for the introverts, the non social (notice the purposeful use of the prefix non and not the negative anti before social) and for all the classes and sub-classes of people who are expected to toe set norms of social standard that leans towards dictated extroverted, outwardly expressive expressions and to ignore, slight or try to change behaviors that do not fall into the social expectations of text book theory but then not everybody who is not easily defined is in need of a label, a classification or peer pressure to be like everyone else.
In fact, it is quite the opposite - the movers and the shakers are generally the dreamers who focus their differences to motivation in areas of outside the box which is usually the solution to the same old, same old done in the self same ways and some how (?) expecting different rather than being different! Maybe the next time you happen upon someone really different, who does not seem dire, perhaps accept the difference, understand the difference and then maybe see why the different should stay different. Not jus’ sayin’
