if your hopefully-not-scathing email doesn't work, tell her "it is literally for chewing on, remove your head from your asshole"
The thing is, I think she wants to be a great teacher. She’s just super duper green. (I think this is her first classroom.) She just needs to get more educated about dealing with neurodivergence. It’s literally my job to advocate for developmentally disabled kids, so I’m happy to do it, I just wish she wouldn’t have made Q even *more* upset about school in her learning curve at a time when he doesn’t ever want to go anymore.

I'm sorry this happened! I hope you can resolve it with the teachers. *hugs*
Thanks handsome. *hugs back* I’m sure it’ll be fine. I’m just so tired of everything having to do with the kid being a stressful mess - and he’s even more sick of it! lol

if he isn't allowed to chew on his necklace, have you considered getting him a fidget cube? It might help and he can keep it hidden away https://www.antsylabs.com/products/fidget-cube

that's awful :( seconding the antsylabs fidget cube idea - the 'How to ADHD' gal on youtube did a review of it a while back, it looks really neat
There’s a strict no-toy policy in place at the school, and I’m pretty sure that any staff that saw him with it would take away a fidget cube very quickly. The necklace doesn’t break any rules, which is why I went with that. *sigh* He does have a fidget cube at home - one of the inexpensive $6 ones from Amazon, which is perfect because he constantly loses them.
