Toph: whats a pronoun. ....oh, okay then. She/they

Zuko: you want to know my pronouns? He/they... thanks for asking

(This is not comics compliant) not seeing enough Mai/Azula or even Mai/Azula/Ty Lee stuff today so take my interpretation of how it would work post canon:

im horrible at getting together stories but ANYWAYS I think mai would be with zuko and she’d also have feelings for Azula so for a while she’d be torn between the two and then she’s like why not both :/ to herself one day so she tells zuko and he’s like you want to date my sister too??? And Mai says something along the lines of ’i have a type’ (i think I’m hilarious)

anyways tyzula would already be established at this point and I think Mai would not confess her feelings, I actually see Azula being the one more likely to confess (or ty Lee ‘accidentally’ lets it slip to Mai lol) but yeah I don’t really have an actual getting together moment planned.

so I headcanon zuko as transmasc nonbinary and personally love adopted!izumi so that happens <3 Azula and ty Lee still like being called her aunts rather than moms but they raise them together. ty lee would teach her chi blocking bc she’s a late bloomer in terms of bending. Mai would teach her to throw knives and izumi thinks its hilarious that she’ll see her mom look super Powerful and Threatening™️ one minute and then the next her mom will just be laying on the couch cuddling her girlfriends and writing a love letter to her husband who’s on a diplomacy trip. azula and zuko teach her fire bending ofc. Sometimes Azula has to take breaks because it triggers memories of her intense training when she was a child, but her family is always there to calm her down 💘

And this may be self-projecting. But demiace Zuko. He needs that emotional connection before he dates you.
