Can you imagine how different the Jet in Ba Sing Se plot would be if Jet, when realising Iroh is a firebender traveling with Zuko, whoβs an obviously traumatised teenager with a giant burn mark, assumed Iroh was the one to burn him ??
Like think about it, it would give even more reason why Jet was so obsessed, even when heβs trying to get a fresh start (Ik canon Jet has his reasons too but I think Smellerbee and Longshot would be more willing to help Jet if they think Iroh is actually hurting someone)
