Gender is a social construct, and I feel very outside of it, so any/all makes sense to me, because pronouns aren't gender. But also, telling someone "I use any/all!" feels like they've just taken it as permission to continue serving their own comforts by continuing to see me as Girl and exclusively use she/her, and it's like...hard to correct it, because I AM a woman, I was raised in the struggles, and it's still a part of me even if I'm non-binary. But I don't want it to be the only way people think of me. Even queer friends do it to me, and it's immensely frustrating and hurtful. Trans and non-binary AFABs aren't just Girl Lite!!! I'm...considering trying out they/them despite the grammar/gendered foreign languages problems. I want to be seen.
I don't want to look more masculine, I just want to look less feminine. Is that too much to ask?
i am immortal until proven otherwise
I just started watching Ouran High School Host Club for the third time because I just need some representation, you know??
It’s so hard to find non-binary characters much less non-binary characters who don’t care about whether or not they should be attracted to guys or girls. I mean, it’s not like my gender identity and sexuality are exactly commonplace, but when you have a character like Haruhi who is both non-binary in dress and presentation as well as not caring if they woo a girl or a guy it’s just like: can this please be my life???
I would love for someone to fall in love with me (like Ritsu or Hikaru) and just accept me for who I am...blah
