HC Time!
(Those are my opinions. Feel free to disagree. ^^)
-Aoi uses She/They/He
-Aoi struggled with her gender identity, thanks to her masculine side and her interest in sports. Thanks to this, she was often harassed for "acting like a dude"
-For her whole life, she tried to force herself to act feminine, because that's what others were expecting for her. However, she didn't feel happy with that and even though she does like some traditionally feminine interests, like doing make-up, she never felt like a real girl.
-When meeting her closest friend Sakura at Hope's Peak however, she began to realise that she didn't have to live for the sake of others. Sakura's story, how she became a strong martial artist in spite of being a woman, inspired her.
-Ever since then, Aoi embraced their masculine side and he began to feel more at ease. She embraced their masculine side, like dressing in sports clothing and being unashamed of their body, being both strong but also soft and chubby.
-They still get judged by critics in the sport industry, for being a "woke swimmer", but thanks to their friends they manage. Especially their brother, who defends them vigorously.
