I took my doll's dress apart so I can sew it back into something new once I clean the pieces. I also just ordered her a wig.

She is wearing Penny Brite's dress in the first photo (red checked) and Betsy McCall's dress in the second photo (blue dotted with red bow). Both dresses are from my mom's childhood doll collection.

She is precisely seven inches and has “MME ALEXANDER” stamped on her back. Didn’t see any tags in her clothing.

Repaint her toes and socks

Fix or cover up her broken nose

Buy her a new wig and install

Make her a new outfit

Revitalize her current outfit. The apron and skirt of her dress seem fine, just dirty, faded, and wrinkled. I’d like to reuse the sleeve details. Her bodice is clearly shot.

See about restringing her limbs though I’m not sure how easy it will be or how to do it.
