In a time of austerity it is suggested that we can no longer sustain our current cities. The Principality of Nomadonia, a self-determined Sovereign State recognises that traditional Nation-States founded on a fixed geographical location are anachronistic. Globalisation and the increasing development of personal mobility through technological advancement has lead to a shift away from historic static representations of cities and countries. In response, the Principality seeks to provide an environment that meets the demands of a progressively hyper-connected world beyond that determined purely by place of birth.
Like Nomadonia’s predecessors, the horse is fully integrated, providing transportation and sustenance for the travelling population. An energy source is no longer an issue for the nomad as the industrial processing of abundant horse waste meets the requirements of the city, delivering ‘horse-power’ to its gizmos.
