Poison’s been sliding in and out of consciousness for the past thirty minutes at this point, exhausted from a long drive. They’d just returned from a supply run and had promptly started telling Pony the whole story, before they’d pretty much collapsed against their shoulder. 

“You tryin’ to scare me Pony? It ain’t gonna work...” Cherri says, but his worried tone overpower the teasing words. “You alrigh’ though? Need me to bring you some more gas?”

He waits anxiously for Pony’s response, hoping they weren’t caught by a drac patrol and ran out.

“And make sure y’all are bein careful out there, motorbabies-“ Cherri says into the mic, cutting himself off as Pony leans over the back of his chair. They put their hands on his chin to tip his head back and plant a big kiss on his forehead with an over-exaggerated “mwah!”

Cherri beams, laughing happily. “Hey Ponyboy,” he says, reaching up to give their wrists a squeeze. “Come to help with th’ broadcast?”

Poison giggles a little nervously, and they try to get their wits about them before responding. They're not sure how to put it, exactly, and they're acutely aware that most people would be freaking out more about being, for all intents and purposes, undead.
