The album titled Contact by Pharmakon has become a recent favorite now that I've gotten back into music that isn't just Korean pop. Needless to say it is noisy but as organized and heavy with a feeling of something vague. Glad that the same feel and sound carries over from their previous album. Unfortunately I don't think the next albums Devour and Maggot Mass were that good for me. May have to listen to them more thoroughly and with less distractions.

Celes, Clive, Jill, and Caius All Share One Dangerous Truth | Final Fantasy Pharmakon
One of the most interesting patterns in Final Fantasy is that its greatest heroes are often carrying the world’s most dangerous poison inside them. That is exactly what Derrida’s pharmakon describes: a thing that is both remedy and toxin, cure and corruption, salvation and threat, all at once.

That idea fits these characters perfectly. Celes is shaped by Magitek, the same force that brutalized her world, yet she turns that poisoned inheritance toward renewal. Clive and Jill save lives through Eikonic power, but that same gift calcifies their flesh and shortens their future. Caius is especially powerful through this lens, because he first appears as catastrophe incarnate, only to become the stabilizing force who remains in chaos itself. In each case, the world is not healed by something pure. It is healed by something dangerous, intimate, and costly.
