7. What is your favourite part of being transgender?

I have lots of favourite parts :D! I think I’ve gained a much stronger understanding of myself than I would have if I were cis - like I understand my own needs, flaws, why I like what I like, why I think the way I think. that stuff also has to do w just getting more educated on a bunch of shit, but learning abt transness was my gateway to becoming a queer space communist or whatever lmao. i feel like I’ve learned how to be more open, honest and kind, and I love that.

also just,,,, being trans has made me so cool and sexy 😎 I feel like being trans let me unlock secret limited-edition genders and sexualities and shit

20. What do you wish you could have shared with your younger self about being trans?

I answered this one a minute ago, but I will add: you think you understand ur sexuality but let me tell u,,, transing ur gender will put that bad boy on shuffle

27. How do you validate yourself?

I def use social media to surround myself w affirming voices & art that connects with how I feel. Connecting with irl queers/queer groups/queer history thru books and stuff also really makes my brain go brrrr.

I also just kinda?? think a lot??? just like work through the logic of how I feel in relation to my beliefs about self-determination & compassion & shit, and it helps bc it kind of lets me process stuff and rationalises what I’m feeling. I don’t know if that makes sense or if that’s just what everybody does, but I’ve always thought I spend a ridiculous amount of time Pondering.
