{VENT POST}I’ve been doing a deep dive on different types of sexuality, and lately I’ve been seeing a lot of hate being directed towards a certain sexuality, but the people saying things like that claim, to still support a certain part of the lgbtq+ community. The truth is, if you don’t except, or you discriminate a certain sexuality in this case, then I don’t feel like you really are. There is no superior sexuality, love is love, and sexuality shouldn’t define love. When you post a negative or hateful comment directed towards a certain sexuality, and someone of that sexuality reads it, what you say could really affect them. Imagine someone saying a hateful thing about your sexuality, you wouldn’t like it, you would feel as if you sexuality/ sexual preference doesn’t matter. That can really hurt someone. Hateful comments like that lead people to depression, and anxiety, something like this is avoidable. I get it, everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but when that opinion is hurtful towards a certain sexuality because you feel one is more superior than another, or that a certain sexuality isn’t a thing because it shadows a “more popular” sexuality, you she could things like that to yourself, because it is toxic and wrong. There should be more positivity in the lgbtq+ community, because there are so many people who are in it, that really just need support and should feel put down just because of someone’s negative comment on social media.
