   fingers gently tapped on the side of the computer as he waited for his boyfriend to answer. it was only chance to call ryder and he had some news to share. he only hoped that the other wasn’t able to pick up. it had been too long since will had heard ryder’s voice. a leg bounced underneath the metal table while eyes darted to the rushing soldiers outside. “c’mon, ryder...” he murmured under his breath.

     they’d been spending a lot of time together, especially lately, so it felt normal to have the other curled up to him even if they’d never really talked about how close they seemed to be getting. this kiss is sweet - & surprising. Alec watches as he pulls away but shakes his head, offering a smile. ‘ why are you apologizing? ’ he asks, tugging him back in until he’s pressed up against him.

raf didn’t entirely know what he was getting into when he brought the other into the shelter. they talked about wanting a dog for a while, but he finally started looking into where they could go around them. he ended up finding he shelter they were in now, and he would have been lying if he wasn’t a little excited himself as they approached the cages. his head turned when he heard ryder already taking interest in one of the dogs, soon walking over to the cage. he smiled as he saw the rest of the dogs getting excited. “you look like you’d fit right in with them.” he joked, leaning down to get a better look in the cage. “they’re all pretty cute. i thought this would be a little easier.”

“Oh bother, you look a little lost,” came Pooh’s soft, dawling voice as he stared up at the boy. He wasn’t Christopher Robin but reminded the bear of him all the same. He had that same wonder twinkling in his eyes. “Normally when that happens, I wait till someone else finds me. So I’ll find you, okay?”
