I decided that I wanted to have a profile art for halloween, but~ I freaking suck at art on a computer (with a mouse and don’t got a tablet) so i’m stuck with not having that and all I can do is mope and mumble under my breath a bunch of curses at the fact that I suck at drawing!

Another photo smash! This time using GIMP which was much more frustrating to use until I got the hang of it. It was a lot of layering and so, so many layers. But I’m fairly pleased with how it turned out. (I have no tablet, so this was all done using a steady finger and a laptop tracking pad...It took hoursssss)

So.. What tablet do you use?
To tell you the truth… I have tried several times to use a tablet but failed completely.
I draw traditionally with pencil on paper. Scan the whole thing and make a vector graphic out of it with the program “Inkscape”. The outlines as well as the colo.
I have always hated coloring, even as a child I only copied the pictures from coloring books instead of coloring them in ^^;. But since I have discovered vectorizing, thanks to “My little Pony: Friendship is magic” by the way, I even like to do it ^^
But yes, no tablet and no Photoshop either. Can’t handle any of this U////U
