I LOVEEEEEEE good morning call!! It’s so cute and can be really funny at times. Usually I don’t really like watching shows with subtitles only (I get confused easily lol) but it’s totally worth it for Good morning call. It’s a great romcom type of show about a girl who moves into her new apartment and finds out the most popular boy in school is also living there! Status: 2 seasons, finished

Romantic Killer

Romantic killer was really fun to watch with how it puts a twist on typical otome games. I really liked the main character, too. I think she acted very reasonably for being put in a real life harem! Status: 1 season, left unfinished

Lovely Complex

Lovely Complex is half romance, half slapstick comedy. It made my heart, but also made me laugh a lot! I related to Risa a lot for her insecurity about her height, and I think it’s a great show to watch for anyone who feels bad about how tall they are. There is a lot of yearning and drama in this one. Status: 1 Season, finished

Onegai My Melody

This one is a bit more on the children’s show side… but I still really liked it. If you like My Melody, then you will too! It’s pretty simple, so it’s great to wind down to. It was absolutely adorable! Status: 4 seasons, finished

I’m not even gonna lie…. some of these aren’t underrated. I just want more people to watch them. I almost put in One Piece, but it’s not underrated at all!! (Luckily)

We've all seen the writing advice that "a first draft is supposed to be terrible", and "no matter what you think, your first draft isn't good". Well I'm here to tell you there is no "one size fits all" when it comes to writing and it's perfectly possible to write decently polished, coherent first drafts.

Maybe you are a slow writer who takes their time putting one sentence after the other, but those sentences are beautiful. Maybe you don't start writing until you have fully outlined the story and there are no surprises. Maybe you wing it, but whenever you realise a structural issue you stop until you figure out how to fix it rather than pushing through. Maybe it's none of these, but you just know when you've finished writing on that particular story for the first time that it's already an acceptable 7.5/10.

And I've also seen people say "if your first draft is polished, it's not a first draft" or "if you did any editing whatsoever, even while writing, it's not a first draft". That is nonsense. If it's the first time you put a metaphorical (or literal) "The End" at the end of a file, you can call that a first draft. There is no writing police. You're not doing it wrong. You're allowed to trust your own judgement.
