7. Did you participate in any gif event this year? How that went for you?

I made gifs for @painlandweek, which can be found here, and have been gradually working through the @dbdpromptober catch-up calendar here. I had a great time doing them, though I was a bit over-ambitious with some of the painlandweek stuff 😂 There were several other events that I wanted to do, but because of health/life stuff I've not had as much time as I'd like. Next year I plan on doing everything I can!

11. Did you have a gifmaker block or felt uninspired at some point in this year? Could you get over it?? How?

Oh for sure! And tbh I've been feeling that way for the last couple of weeks. I'm trying to take it easy on myself and not force anything- any half-finished projects will be there waiting for me to come back to when I'm ready. Talking to friends also always helps, for example I talked to @aletterinthenameofsanity about the project I most recently worked on, and she was kind enough to send over loads of ideas. You're always such an inspiration Kenna and I love you to bits! Thank you again for your help 💜💜💜

17. Do you have a favorite gifset made by someone else this year?

I have so many saved in an inspo folder I don't think I can choose just one 😭 I seriously tried. I ended up spending so many hours scrolling through so many absolutely stunning gifs. It's taken me days to answer this because I keep getting distracted by too many beautiful gifs lol! Having said that, I spent soooo much time staring at @stark-lord's gifs of Charles' hands. They're beautifully done gifs!!! And beautiful hands!

I also have to mention @fan-a-tink's tournaments- there's a Jenny tournament running atm for anyone who hasn't seen it, though it's taken me so long to answer that the polls have closed on this round, and all the tournaments can be found here. Not only are they always full of absolutely beautiful gifs, I think it's such a great idea that gets discussion going in the fandom. And it's always so fun to follow along and try to predict which will win!

There's multiple aus of this au, and one of them is where there's an RG kid thrown into the premise. Their name is Scout and they call Oscar "Boss" instead of "Papa/Dad" because that's what everyone (except Ruby) calls him.

The scene here is supposed to be Scout giving Ruby a kiss on a bandage when she comes home roughed up from a mission. The dialogue goes something like:

Scout: Boss says you gotta kiss the boo-boos better! Ruby: -barely restrained laughter- Oscar: Twenty years to build a reputation, ruined in an instant.

i like to think that edwin collects seaglass for niko when shes in the neitherlands :)

21. Something you wish had been done differently in the show?

Ahh, hello!! I just wanted to say I adore your fic to bits and pieces. The way you've written the characters and the interactions, it all flows so smoothly and I haven't had this specific good mystery sort of vibe from a story in such a long time and it makes brain go brr

You're an incredible writer and good inspiration because half the times I kick myself out of a writing block by reading

Hi, thank you!! It means a lot to hear because I’m very obsessed with getting the flow just right when I’m writing stuff -- like finding a rhythm or beat I guess? I’ve never written a fic quite like this but I’m having very fun with it and I’m glad you are too :) It’s pretty exciting, like fitting the bits just right for you all to piece together.
