Dear nintendogamemaster,
I haven’t gotten to know Mr. Apollo very well, but I can tell he’s a good person. Mr. Nick always speaks highly about him!
I heard him say he has an “unreliable streak,” though. Is that like a tattoo, I wonder?
-Pearl Fey
That...Thats the Santa from Two Evil Scientists...Any news on RyanMC? He seems to have faded from the internet since a long time ago.
Its not. Its a variation I made inspired by his own. If you compare the sprites you would notice differences.
And sadly, there hasn’t. Its been years.
In scinanigans Frisk mentioned they are better without knowing the real him, what does he means with this?
You’ll just have to wait and see. ;) IF Frisk is a complex character, though keen observers may pick up on some of their more subtle quirks/tendencies.
Dear Anonymous,
That depends on what kind of sprites you’re after. Ones with backgrounds were made by the Mod (and some more recent ones by me) using gooncam. The ones without backgrounds were made by No Comment, Meme?, and CE53. There are also a few others, but the maker of those asked us to keep those links a secret. I hope you’re able to make good use of them!
Dear Tag,
Is this the one? I love that one, too. It’s both touching in the way it brings out Franziska’s sensitive side, and hilarious in the image it creates of her whipping those poor doctors until they either call the police or get back to treating that man.
And thanks to you for the love! We’re doing our best to keep this show on the road.
Dear nintendogamemaster,
Probably so. I'm not as good at editing 3D sprites as I am with the 2D ones, but maybe I’ll figure it out someday soon. And a swap between Trucy and Pearl was one of our ideas, believe it or not! I attempted to have Trucy describe it in this letter.

Dear Shy Anon,
You know something? That’s just about the nicest thing that can be said about any ask blog, and I can’t thank you enough for saying it about ours. Character interaction is what I’m all about, and I’m happy to help you and others enjoy it! And if it helps build your confidence, that’s a nice bonus, too!
And yeah, our queue’s still pretty full (slightly over 1000 letters), but it’s definitely a lot smaller than it used to be. I’ve had to delete quite a few of them, by the way, so feel free to ask what happened to your letter if you’ve been waiting for an answer for longer than a couple months.

Dear springtime562,
I’d love to read it, but sadly, I don’t have a Wattpad account (and didn’t feel like making one on the spot). Sorry!
Dear power-joe-fanclub,
Well, first let me congratulate you for topping Shy Anon (no offense to them); they said the nicest thing that can be said about an ask blog, but what you said might be the nicest thing one can say about a comedian. Flipping someone’s mood from sadness to joy is something I wish I could do all the time, but being able to do it at all is a huge blessing for me, so I’m very glad you to decided to let us know about it.
I happen to be going through a lot myself right now, most of it being emotional stress. I’ve been struggling to let go of things from my past, worrying about where I should go next career-wise, and letting things bother me that probably don’t even matter. Not to mention the holidays are coming up, which creates even more stress.
This reminds me of something the Mod once said on this blog; I couldn’t find the exact quote, but it was something along the lines of, “Sometimes life sucks, and you just have to let it suck.” My interpretation of that is, some problems don’t have an easy or obvious solution; you just have to wait them out until they leave you alone. Another helpful quote from the Mod is, “Just remember, the reason life sucks is because there are enough good moments to show you the difference.” In other words, the good parts of life are always worth going through the bad parts to reach them. I’m still in the process of learning that lesson, so don’t feel bad if it takes you a while.
And one other thing, which I’ve said multiple times in the past, but I’ll say it again: it’s not just me and the other Mods who keep this blog running -- it’s you and the others who write letters for us to answer. It’s a two-way gift as I see it, so thanks a bunch!
Dear Anonymous,
You mean this one?
Thanks for letting us know...I guess? *shudder*
Dear jnv11,
The link worked okay on my laptop, but I went ahead and changed it to the shorter URL. Let us know if it still doesn’t work for you.
Dear Ethan Starbright,
Thanks a bunch, and welcome back! I’ve been here since 2017, so it’s good to see that I (and the other Mods) still haven’t lost our edge. I was afraid we’d need some footstomp casserole to keep it going.

Dear nintendogamemaster,
Teaming up with them? Bah! They would be better off being put on a leash with methods as inane as theirs.  “Coolest defense” indeed.

Dear nintendogamemaster,
I’ve always believed in placing the good of the many over the good of the one, as well as taking action over doing nothing, but I certainly would not judge anyone for what they did or didn’t do if this scenario were to become reality. It’s a rather difficult dilemma, especially when time is of the essence.
As for the “fat man” variation, I see no value in sacrificing another’s life in a last-ditch effort to save others, regardless of their number. Human beings do not exist to be used as a means to an end, no matter how noble it might seem.
-Miles Edgeworth
Hey, everyone!  It’s the Co-Mod here, with a quick announcement.  As you may have noticed, the Modthorne has been absent from this blog for a while.  Before you ask, no, she hasn’t gone to a foreign country to start her own ask blog; the main reason for this is that her computer is currently busted, but also so she can finish playing through SoJ and be more prepared to answer letters about that game.  She plans to return as soon she's able.
This is also the reason why we’ve left a few of your letters unanswered for so long -- since they were addressed to both of us, I didn’t want to post them without letting her add her responses to them.  Luckily, she gave me permission to go ahead answer them by myself for now, so without further ado...
Dear James CyberLink,
Aw, shucks, pal! Â Thank you kindly!
My goal in impersonating the characters is to mostly do what the Mod did -- make them sound like real people, but let them keep their cartoon-y quirks.  That’s one of the great things about Ace Attorney: the characters are serious enough that you can relate to them, but silly enough to make you laugh until your stomach hurts.
Also, as you know, we’ve already started using gifs without backgrounds from two different sources, but if anyone knows where we can find others, please let us know!  I’d love to be able to do them all that way.
P.S. My image editing skills are pretty good, but not quite at the same level as the Mod’s.  We’ll just see how it goes when we reach the Hypnotoad letters.
Dear AnthonyDeadman,
Thank you very much!  I've enjoyed visiting this blog for quite a while, too.  It’s been like my own personal Disney Land, just with Ace Attorney characters instead of Disney heroes and princesses.  It’s great to know that we’re keeping it entertaining, so thanks for that as well!
And if I could turn anything to gold, it’d probably be wasps.  They’re not very large, I know, but if it kept them from being alive, I’d be very satisfied.  I really dislike wasps.
Dear Rubia,
Being an American-born citizen, my preference goes to burgers, Big Macs being my favorite kind.  I also like just about any kind of noodles, but I doubt there’s anything much better than the lo mein served at a Chong’s restaurant.
Dear hoennese,
Thank you!  That’s good to hear.  It was the Modthorne’s idea to change the 3D sprites (the ones we can, that is), and it’s working out great so far in my opinion.  I know some of you will miss the old sprites, but we thought it would be nice to have the 3D sprites shown in the same style as the 2D ones.
Also, just to be clear, none of us created these sprites -- credit for their creation goes to No Comment and Meme?. Â I agree that the animations are beautifully done.
Dear Infinity Sparks,
Ah, so the mystery number returns to the scene of the crime!
Let’s see...  If we convert the letters to numbers using a phone dial pad, it can spell KURKIS.  Switching two of the letters makes it KIRKUS, which is an American book review magazine that ended in 1980.  This could only mean one thing -- your true identity is...
Frank Sahwit!
There, I solved it!
(Previous Letter)
Dear gary-the-hot-soup,
I don’t really have much to add to what the Mod said about it, but there are a few extra details about Miles’s relationship with his father that are filled in by AAI2.  One is that Gregory thought about his son often, as indicated by one of his inner monologues, which is something along the lines of: “I wonder if my son would be interested in this.”
Another is that young Miles preferred to spend his time reading books rather than playing with other boys his age.  This makes it easy to imagine his father walking into his room every once in a while and asking something like, “Miles, don’t you think you’ve done enough reading for now?” and not even getting a response from him as he focuses intensely on whatever he’s reading.
In short, I imagine the two of them making a good makeshift family (which seems to be the only type there is in the Ace Attorney universe), with a few disagreements happening now and then, but also enough genuine love between them to make the precious moments they had together enjoyable.
Dear bluemagedanny,
I’d probably rather not, partly because it would take a very long time to find all of them, and partly because I doubt most people have a reason to search for them anyway.  The other Mods might have different opinions about it, though, so we’ll just wait and see.
Dear attackonfangurl,
Thank you very much!  This might be the most humbling letter I’ve seen since I started Co-Modding on this blog.  It makes me very happy to see how our imitations of some of the wackiest video game characters ever created can help make peoples’ days a little funnier...or a little weirder, in some cases.  Glad you and your siblings are enjoying it!
But don’t forget, it’s not just us who make this blog so much fun -- the submitters deserve just as much credit for it, if not more.  It would literally be impossible without all the letters sent by fans of the series, some of which are already hilarious before they even get an answer.  They’re the real reason for what this blog has become since it first started.
Also, just out of curiosity, is your third youngest sibling a Megaman fan?
(Video in Letter – Strong Language Warning)
Dear nintendogamemaster,
¿Que más puedo decir? El video lo dice todo.
Dear Anonymous,
The popularity poll, huh? Â It makes a lot of sense from what I can tell -- Edgeworth and Phoenix are obviously the coolest anime attorneys in existence, and Maya and Gumshoe seem like the most memorable sidekicks in the series. Â But what about...
Wait...no...NO...NO WAY!!  Athena didn’t even make the list?!?
THIS IS BLASPHEMYYYYYYYYYY!!!
-The Co-Mod
P.S. The rest of the unanswered letters from a few weeks ago have been added to the group to be answered on Sunday. Â See you then!
